"Nice evening we're having today"
Bruce uttered nervously with the lady in front of him who was been chasing him since earlier. There was no telling how or what she would do to him now that she has finally apprehended him to a spot where he couldn't escape anymore.
He could try swimming into the sea and hide, but she is probably a trained swimmer too, being raised on an island and all.
He could try using his anesthetic bombs again just like earlier but there seems to be no available spots on the shore as of the moment. Being here cornered with nothing but sea behind him is definitely a checkmate
"You, I know what you are." She stated in a powerful manner
"What was her name again? I'll have to be on good terms with her if I wish to live for another day, that's for sure" Bruce thought to himself
"Daniella, What a pleasant surprise!" Bruce prattled in a very convincing way.
The lady cocked him an eyebrow as her glare towards him grew narrower. Her fists curling into a tight wrench as she slowly approached him
"Daniella?" the girl stormed furiously
Bruce grew more agitated getting her name wrong. He was definitely a few mistakes closer from the edge of her sharp sword. But if he manages to convince her otherwise, he'd live for another day
"Yeah, don't you remember me ? We used to be old classmates at the schoo... I mean Academy!" Bruce jabbered tensely
She took one step closer with her glare shoving intimidation on the young man. He was definitely uneasy with her getting closer and closer.
"Long time no see. And speaking of no see, how about you forget you saw me, huh? For old times' sake." Bruce chattered shakily.
He smoothly turned around nonchalantly to get all his things and leave assuming she got dazed and confused, but as he was about to take one step ahead-- a powerful grip prevented him from going anywhere.
"I'm toast" he whispered to himself
Suddenly, he felt his body float for a split second and crash to the ground. She threw him off the ground with her unexpected strength
"Did you really think I was stupid?" the girl declared furiously, she was now taking long steps towards him with her anger still brewing inside of her
Bruce knew for himself that he needed to calm her down or else this island will be her last paradise before the true paradise.
"Calm down Daniella..."
"It's Diana!!" She angrily interrupted
"Right, right Diana, of course I knew that" Bruce nervously jittered.
He knew for himself he had to find a way to talk his way out of this, Bruce had always been a smooth talker to get away with trouble. Diana was too furious to convince otherwise so he had to resort to plan B,
"Why are you here? How did you get in this island?" Diana furiously asked
"Well uhh, I can explain. The thing is..."
Getting her to actually calm down and pay attention to him, he waited for the right time to use his hidden trick up his sleeve
"I am a...."
Almost there as his fingers were almost at the edge of the valves
"Look it's Artemis!" Bruce yelled
