Percy closed and locked the door after he entered the bathroom because Annabeth had led the way. She sat on the counter and Percy walked over to stand just infront of her.

Annabeht scrunched her nose up and paced her hands on Percy's shoulders. "Hey"

Percy laughed. "Hey."

He picked her up off the counter and laid her down on the ground. He was still holding her by the waist so he leaned down farther and kissed her before getting up and lying on the floor beside her.

"What do you want to talk about?" Annabeth asked, she readed her hand down and grabbed Percy's. They were both lying on their backs, looking at the ceiling so Annabeth missed the smile that flashed across Percy's face at the touch of her hand on his.

"Anything, as long as it's with you." He squeezed her hand and turned his head to look at her.

"That's so cheesy, seaweed brain."

"Yeah, but it's sweet."  Annabeth turned her head to look at him too and she laughed.

"Okay then, what do you want to do in the future, like for a job?" Percy returned his gaze back to the ceiling and thought about his answer for a moment.

"I'm not sure yet, something with sea animals."

"Marine biologist?" Annabeth suggested.

"Maybe, or something that would help them, like an aquatic veterinarian, but I don't know yet."

"I think that job would suit you."

"I think so too, and of course I would want a job that would alow me to spend time with my wife and kids."

Annabeth didn't kow how to respond to that, they were only seventeen. Was he thinking of marriage and kids with her, or just in general?

It seemed as though Percy read her thoughts becuase he rolled onto his side to face her. "I'm sorry, that just came out. I didn't necessarily mean with you." He grimaced at how that musthave sounded for Annabeth. "That's not what I meant, just, we're really young, I'm definitely not thinking about kids anytime soon. I am so sorry if this made you uncomfortable."

Annabeth took a second to process all the words he just threw at her, then she burst out laughing.

"Annabeth, are you okay?" This just made Annabeth laugh harder.

She calmed herself down enough to talk and said, "oh, seaweed brain, you're so cute." She rolled over too so she was mirroring Percy's position.

"Why do you say that."

"Beacause," she reached out to rub his upper arm, "you are so thoughtful and kind and wonderful. You try your best to make me feel comfotable in any situation and that really means a lot to me, Perce. I wish all guys were as good as you."

Percy sighed and rushed his free hand up to grab the one she was using to rub his arm and said, "I care about you, Annabeth, I would do anything for you and honestly, the way some men treat women makes me feel sick."

Annabeth leaned over and kissed him. They broke apart, their faces still pretty close, and Annabeth whispered against his mouth, "I love you, Percy."

Percy was just able to get the words, "I love you too," out before Annabeth kissed him again.

When they broke apart that time Annabeth leaned all the way back and went quiet. Percy raised one eyebrow at her but all she did was raise a finger to her lips to tell him to stay silent.

Finally Annabeth whispered something, "I think everyone left."

"What, would they do that?"

"Definitely. And I'm pretty sure it's been seven minutes already."

"Oh, do you just want to go out there then, you could stay the night if you want?"

"I have an idea, hold on." Annabeth slipped out the door, confirming that everyone had left when she was met with an empty room.

When she came back into the bathroom she had blankets and pillows in her hand.

"I was thinking we could sleep in here, if would be like that night in the stables."

Percy smiled at her, he reached up and she held the stuff out to him but he ignored it and grabbed her instead, pulling her down to the ground with him.

They were both laughing and Percy started laying out one of the blankets.

Annabeth grabbed the pillows, still laughing, and put them in place.
