Part 17

"See? I knew you could do it!" I said as we sat under the three after cycling for a while.
"It's not that I couldn't do it! It's just that... I'm not used to doing stuff like these." Taehyung sighed and leaned his head on my shoulder.
"What, they're too ordinary for you? Then what did you do in your free time before we started dating?" I chuckled.
"I've always been interested in art so I spent most of my time reading books about it. I painted sometimes too."
"Did you paint any of those pieces that are hanged in your house?"
"Are you crazy? I'm not that talented!" he chuckled to himself.
"It's still really fascinating."
"What?"
"You're acting all tough and intimidating on the outside but on the inside you're actually a big softie." I giggled.
"I guess only you see me that way."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing, just forget about it... Are you hungry?"
"I could eat something...How about we go to my dad's restaurant?"
"Does he know that we're dating?"
"Not really... Let's keep it that way just for a little while okay?"
"Why?" he chuckled.
"I have to figure out how to tell him."
"What is there to figure out?"
"I don't know... I just..."
"You're afraid he won't approve of me?"
"Of course he would approve of you I mean look at you! You're handsome, you have a job and more than a decent place to live in!"
"Then what is it that you're afraid of?" he chuckled.
"Fine! We're gonna tell him."
"Y/N! What brings you here? Oh, I know this young man, is he with you?" my dad asked surprised as he saw Taehyung and I coming inside the restaurant.
"I'm glad that you remember me Mister Min!" Taehyung smiled and bowed.
"So, what's with you and my daughter?"
"We've been going out for some time and I've developed serious feelings for her Sir."
"Is that so?" my dad's face expression turned into a serious one, making both Taehyung and me a bit frightened.
"Yes Sir." Taehyung gulped.
"Godness I am so happy to hear that! Make sure to treat her well alright? You don't want to mess with me." dad said smiling brightly as Taehyung sighed in relief.
"Don't worry Sir, I won't let anything bad happen to her." he smiled too.
"Go on, have a seat on that table over there! I'll prepare you a meal myself!"
"Thank you Sir!" Taehyung bowed.
"Dad! Don't go overboard!" I whispered.
"There's no such thing as overboard when father of my future grandchildren is in question!" he smiled and rushed off to the kitchen.
"You heard that huh?" I asked as I saw Taehyung laughing to himself.
"If my father was alive, I'm sure he'd react the same way."
"Parents... you tell them that you're dating someone and they immediately start talking about grandchildren." I chuckled.
After visiting my dad's restaurant, we returned home and spent the rest of the afternoon just lying on the bed, talking about whatever crossed our minds.
"Come on, we have to start getting ready for the club." Taehyung said as he checked the time on his phone and got up from the bed.
"Your outfit is in the room next to mine. You also have a bathroom in there if you want to take a shower or something." he added.
"What if that outfit doesn't look good on me when I put it on?"
"I know it will. I picked it myself. Plus you're the most beautiful person I've ever seen." he said and walked over to me.
"Now you're just exaggerating." I chuckled and pecked his lips softly.
I got inside the room next to Taehyung's as he told me and saw a two black boxes placed on the bed, one a bit bigger than the other.
"This must be the outfit right?" I thought to myself and decided to open both of them.
My eyes widened and my mouth gasped upon seeing the red satin dress and high-heeled sequined pumps that were lying inside the boxes.
"Do you like it?" Taehyung's voice spoke making my body flinch.
"Jeez Taehyung how long have u been here? I might start thinking you're a creep!" I turned to see him leaning on the door frame with a sly smirk on his face.
"Sorry if I scared you." he chuckled "So, what do you think?"
"I love it but it looks really expensive. You really shouldn't have spent so much money on me Taehyung."
"Money is unimportant. Now go and get ready, I have one more thing for you when you're done." he said and left the room, closing the door behind him.
I went to the bathroom to take a quick shower and after drying and styling my hair, I put on the dress and then did my makeup.
"I think this should be it." I said as I put on the heels and headed downstairs.
I walked to the living room and saw Taehyung sitting on the couch.
His gaze turned to me the moment he heard the sound of stomping heels getting closer to him.
"Woah..." he said with his jaw dropped as he got up from the couch.
"I'm not used to wearing stuff like these." I giggled shyly.
"Well you should because you look breathtaking." he walked to me and wrapped his hands around my waist.
"So you're saying I don't look breathtaking in ordinary clothes?"
"N-No that's n-not what I m-meant." he stuttered, the pink colour of his cheeks showing how flustered he was.
"You're so cute when you're blushing." I chuckled and pulled him closer by the collar of his shirt and kissed him passionately.
"Keep your eyes closed." he said breaking the kiss.
A few seconds later a felt him putting a necklace around my neck.
"You're insane." I said as my fingers felt the diamond tennis necklace.
"Insanely in love with you." he chuckled and pecked my lips.
"Where is Jungkook? Is he coming with us?"
"He's probably already there." he said as he took my hand and led me to the garage.
"Wow... I didn't know you have this many cars." I said with my eyes widened.
"Which one should we take for tonight?" he smirked.
"The red one. It goes well with my dress." I smirked too.
After about 10 minutes of driving we arrived to the club which was in the very centre of the city, long line of people waiting in front of the club leaving me completely surprised.
"So your clubs are really popular huh?"
"Yeah, you could put it that way."
We got out of the car and two security guards that were already waiting for us led us inside.
I became even more surprised than I already was upon seeing the place from inside, flashing lights, loud music and bunch of people dancing sending a rush of excitement through my body.
We walked to what it seemed to be a vip section as there were a lot of fancily dressed men who greeted Taehyung.
