so this sorta got requested i guess, i saw this comment in my notifications about whether or not i could do some creature lists for oc's and honestly, it had to be written anyway and next thing you know im writing all this down

there have been so many overpowered characters and honestly its so unnecessary
as i said in my 'overpowered oc's' chapter:
just because your oc is the most powerful character does not automatically make your story good
so, here you are with some do's and don't as to what type of creatures fit better in these worlds
i will also be dividing this into two lists. One for TVD and TO and another for Legacies since they've been exploring more creatures.
This one is for TVD and TO, since honestly, if you even try to include other creatures, it's weird
- vampires yeah i know, its in the title for the parent show and yet it's barely use. and when it is, it's merged with another creature.

there's been such a lack of good vampire fics, and you can't even see how awesome they can be, there's so much to do. it's not always hiding your true self or wanting to be human or falling in love with a human.

First off, you have the choice to pick any era and put them there, like in the Damon fic where he talks about his old love during the 70's, the whole book is set in that time period and it's awesome.
