When I wake up the next morning Taylor and Gracie are wide awake and playing with their dolls. Charlotte isn't in bed but I'm not sure where she is, I notice the bathroom door is shut so I go to see if she's there. Sure enough I find her curled up on the toilet with her arms around her stomach, "mommy!" She wails as another wave of her stomach contents leaves her body. I run over to her and sit on the floor in front of her, "I'm here baby girl I'm here" I soothe. Charlotte wraps her tiny hands around my fingers, I smile. Charlotte seems to like physical contact when she's anxious so I let her grip my hands, when she's finally done she collapses into my arms. I clean her up and take her back out to the room, I'm planning to go to the beach with my family, Scott and Mitch today. The beach is my favourite place in the world because it makes me feel so free, Taylor gets ready in a pair of cute denim shorts with little bows and a cute white t shirt with a pretty white lacy flower pattern. Charlotte has a cute pink t shirt with little hearts and a denim pinafore dress, they both look adorable. Gracie heads into the bathroom to get ready and comes out in a grey lacy tank top and black high waisted shorts.

My mouth drops open at the sight of her, Charlotte runs up to her and holds her arms out. Gracie chuckles and picks her up "what's up sweetie?" She asks gently, Charlotte giggles "you look so pretty auntie Gracie!" She squeals. Gracie gives her a kiss and sets her down so that she can pack her bag, Charlotte gets to work on sorting her doll out in a cute little swimsuit and shorts. When we're all ready we head out to the beach, I lay out some towels on the sand and we all sit and get comfy. I make sure the girls have got plenty of suncream on before they go and play, Taylor and Gracie run off to the sea, Mitch and Scott start making a sandcastle and I just sunbathe. Charlotte cuddles up next to me and falls asleep with her head on my stomach, I stroke her hair as I lay on my towel. I must fall asleep because the next thing I'm aware of is Charlotte gently tapping my face to wake me, "mommy?" She cries anxiously. My eyes flutter open and I find Charlotte crying, "hey baby what's wrong?" I ask her gently.

She cuddles up to me and I put my arms around her, "I had a bad dream that you left us here and when I woke up I couldn't wake you. I thought you were poorly" she whimpers, "aww I'm sorry baby where did everyone else go?" I ask. Charlotte points to the water and I can see everyone bobbing around, "shall we go and join in?" I ask. She nods and we run towards the water, Charlotte squeals and clings to me because she can't touch the bottom. I bob up and down and she giggles, after a few minutes she starts whining. "Do you wanna get out baby?" I ask, she nods "itchy" she whines. I frown and take her back to our towel, I gasp as I find her skin completely covered in a blotchy red rash and little blisters. "Oh that's what's itchy" I murmur, Charlotte whines loudly. "Mommy it burns and itchy!" She wails, I pick up her tiny arm and peer at the blotchy red rash. It's slightly raised but it's definitely not hives, it's all over her. Even on her cheeks and her lips, I get her to wait there and sprint back into the water. Mitch is busy with Taylor so I grab Scott's arm, he turns to face me "what's up Kirstie?" He asks. "You need to come and have a look at Charlotte for me" I say desperately.

Scott nods and we run back over to Charlotte. Her tiny face is screwed up and tears are pouring down her cheeks, "mommy make it stop!" She wails. I hush her gently and Scott slides off her t shirt, "Scottie burns!" Charlotte wails. Scott tries to soothe her as he gently dries her skin, "she has awful eczema" he whispers. I sigh "I'm gonna take her back to the hotel and try and soothe her" I say softly, Scott nods and I carry Charlotte and our stuff back to the hotel room. When we get back I grab some sudocream and gently apply it to her skin to stop the itching and to hopefully soothe it, after that we have a peaceful few hours doing some online shopping. I need to order the girls some new autumn clothes and school stuff, I spoke to the headteacher of Crestview Academy and she's willing to accept Charlotte and Taylor into the early years class. She emailed me a list of stuff they will need and they will start in a few weeks because they both turned three just a few days before I met them. The new school year begins in a few weeks so they will start at the new year.
