Hazel's pov
*Beep* *Beep* * Beep*
For 3 days i have been waiting for gus to wake up. Just seeing him lying there life less breaks my heart. Everyday while i wait the same thought goes through my head. What if he doesn't wake up. But i know he will. I need him to our infinity cant end like this. Then our friend Issac walks in. "Hello is there anyone here" " Yeah its me Issac" i said. "Oh hey hazel" "hi Issac" then we sat there for about a minute just in silence. "Do you think he will ever wake up?" Issac asked me. "I don't know but i really do want him too" i said. "I have to go my mom still wants me to go to support group" he said. Then i hugged him and he left. My phone started ringing and of course it was my mom. "Hey mom" "Hi hazel, i think you should come home for dinner" she said. "Im not hungry" "But hazel you didn't eat breakfast or lunch. You can go back after dinner just... come home hazel" my mom said. "Fine ill be there soon" then i hung up. I got up and grabbed my oxygen tank handle. Just as i was about to walk out the door i hear a weak voice say "Hazel Grace?"
