Chapter 3

(FLASHBACK 1)

(Y/n Pov)

As I see Percy getting beaten to a pulp, I see Ripley lift her gun up to him and whisper. "Another name...off the list." A gunshot rings out and hits Percy, and his final breath leaves his body. I become enraged and transform from by Nergigante form and into my true form. As I turn, the skies come to life with red lighting striking the ground and me rising into the air in the form of White Fatalis. As I am flying in the sky with pure anger burning within me, and the chaos going on around the field with the others, I hear her speak. "Now, it's time to go ahead and make an escape." She begins to run away and then vanishes. I fly down to Percy's body and pull him away from Orthax while the others continue the fight.

(A.N. When any of the characters are in their true forms and are talking, they are speaking in Draconic.)

I hear and see Vex scream in agony and fire a few arrows at Orthax. Vax as well attacks Orthax with his sister. Keyleth looks at Orthax and blasts a huge wave of air against him and his shadow form is blasted back and falls into a small pile onto the ground. I see Scanlan walk over to his sword and pick it up to continue the fight. Grog then runs over to his axe, that was originally in Ripley's chest, that is now on the ground. At that moment, Ripley reappears and Scanlan shoots a sphere at her and encapsulates her. I look towards Vex, "Confn tenpiswo vur troth jacion, yth geou sulta nomeno riika."

And I start walking towards the sphere with everyone else. We surround the sphere and see her struggle inside and try to escape with no avail. Eventually, Everyone but Vex is around the sphere and drops the sphere.

Vax Stabs into her shoulder and rips all the way around taking her fake arm off. Scanlan jumps forward and carves the De Rolo symbol into her forehead. Grog takes his axe and slices across her navel. Keyleth casted Grasping Vine and wrapped around her throat to choke her. Vex then fires two arrows, one into her heart, and the second into her mouth cutting off her scream. Finally, I lunge my head forward and bite down onto her torn up body and shake my head and look up into the sky and fire a fireball disintegrating what was left of her body.

I then let out a earth shattering roar into the skies causing streaks of red lightning to cross the sky with booming cracks, and as I slowly transformed back into my humanoid form, the lightning subsided and began to gently rain.

We then all turn around and see Vex kneeling down by Percy holding him in her arms crying. We run back over to them and Vex and Keyleth both try to cast Cure Wounds, but it has no effect. I kneel next to them and place my hand on Vex's shoulder. "We can still save him, but we need to go now." She looks to me with tears covering her cheeks. "H-how? We're too far away from anywhere that could bring him back." "Leave that to me. As soon as I morph, hop on."

I back up to give space and transform into Safi'jiiva and lower my wing. They climb on and I begin to take flight and fly towards the closest place to bring our friend back. 'After loosing my first family, I will NOT loose another.' I think to myself as I continue to fly off to our destination.

(FLASHBACK 2)

During the beginning of our planning phase to kill Vecna for good, I heard my name being called from somewhere nearby. I got confused and walked off from the group. "(Y/n)? Where are you going?" Vax whispered, but I just kept walking to find the voice calling my name. I walked for a tiny bit through the treeline before entering an opening and saw two elder dragons standing across the way. A Crimson Fatalis and a normal Fatalis. I form a giant smile and sprint for the middle and they jump up and transform.

(Vax Pov)

I slip away from the group and sneak follow (Y/n) through the trees and they came to an opening. I spotted two large dragons across an opening in the trees. (Y/n) took off towards the dragons and they took off upward and (Y/n) transformed into their true form and took flight with the other dragons and flew around together in the sky like they were dancing. This went on for a solid minute or two before landing again and turning into humanoid forms. After they landed, I stood up and leaned against a tree on the edge of the treeline and waited to be noticed. Soon, the girl in the group spotted me and tapped (Y/n) and pointed towards me. (Y/n) turned around and saw me and waved their hand to come over to them.

I arrived at their spot and (Y/n) introduced me. "Vax! These are two of my siblings from back home, Ruby and Rocco." Ruby looked like a high elf as well with shoulder long crimson red hair and the same kind of trench coat as (Y/n) but crimson red as well with black pants and boots. Rocco also looked like a high elf with short black hair with a black trench coat with black pants and boots. "Looks like you guys have a similar taste in clothes I see." They all chuckle and agree. "Well, we are the Fatalis Triplets in our family, I guess we all agreed in taste." "But I'm the oldest of us three technically." (Y/n) boasted. They rolled their eyes and commented on it. "So, how did they get here (Y/n)?" "They came to give me surprising news. Apparently, our father has been observing my time here, and has confirmed that I have finally used my powers for good and wants to bring me home."

I could already assume what this could mean. "So then...does this mean goodbye?" I could see (Y/n)'s happy expression fade into a look of sadness. "Oh, right." I place a hand on their shoulder and smirk. "It's okay (Y/n). You've been talking to me and my sister about home for some time now, and now it's finally happening." "Yeah...I guess so." They turned around and looked at Ruby and Rocco and looked back to me. "Tell the others I'll miss them." "I will. I'll miss your depressed ass." They chuckled and gave me a big hug and I returned it. We parted hugs and they turned to walk into a portal casted by Ruby and they walked through, and it closed.

At that moment, the others found me standing in the field and ran up to me. "Vax, what are you doing out here?" Keyleth asked. "Hold on, where's (Y/n)?" Grog asked kinda sadly. I smirked but had a tad of sadness to it.

"It's okay Grog, he just went home..." "Went home?!" They all said. "(chuckle) yeah, his father had been watching him, and considered him worthy to return." They all give mixed reactions about this news. Some were happy for him; some were sad that he left so suddenly. "I'm really gonna miss him, but right now we have to focus. Vecna is going to attack soon and we need to go." Percy stated. We all agreed and went back to our camp and prepared
