Chapter 5

(FLASHBACK 3)

(Y/n Pov)

It has been a week since I came home and the guilt of leaving my friends became too much. My friends need me and I know it, but I do not know how to tell my family. I finally muster up the courage and enter the main living room and see my family talking. "Is something wrong (Y/n)?" Ruby asks me. "You were right father; my friends need me. Don't get me wrong, I missed you guys a lot while I was gone, but they're my best friends and they're in trouble." My family looked at me and had different feelings about me going back. My father walks up to me. "Are you sure?" Ruby asks, and I nod my head. "Well, if you say so, then go back. Just like you taught me when I was younger, don't turn your back on your friends." I smile and look at my father. He gives a nod and starts walking outside into the courtyard.

I walk outside and I stand next to my father as he begins to cast a portal. The portal opens and we see a giant stone titan carrying Vecna's temple atop of it walking through Vasselheim. I then hear my siblings come outside with their battle gear on. "What are you guys doing?" "Did you think we were gonna let you have all the fun out there fighting that thing?" Ruby says. "No Ruby, this is my fight. I don't want you guys getting hurt." They all laugh, and all stand next to me. I shake my head and turn back to the portal. I look to my father and ask him, "Can you grant me grandfather's Gift of the Dalamadur?" He nods and places a hand on my shoulder and glows. After the transition, I nod and jump through the portal. One by one we all jump through the portal and are now in a free fall upon the titan.

I look to both of my sides and see my siblings transforming into their true forms of elder dragons and I then begin to transform into the Dalamadur. Upon reaching full transformation, I wrapped around the titan and constricted its arms to its sides. My siblings split up to help attack the titan and help attack Vecna's army in the city. I looked upon Vecna's temple and saw Vecna battling against Vox Machina. I bit down upon the tower and ripped the top open and saw Vecna look up at me and cast something towards me. I then felt several giant impacts hit my form and I could not hold on to the titan anymore and I started falling to the ground. Before I hit the ground, I reformed into my true form and flew back up to the temple. I gained altitude and dove into the temple opening and hovered above everyone. I sent red lightning down upon Vecna and struck him.

He then casted another spell at me and I felt my body become squeezed tightly together and begin to fall back to the ground. I morphed back to my humanoid form, but the feeling of being held tightly together was still there and I kept falling. I called out to my siblings for help and I saw Ruby and Rocco soaring down to catch me and bring me to the ground. Upon getting to the ground, I felt my body get released and I was free. They then took off again to fight and I decided to have another plan. I turned into a (Diablos/Black Diablos) and started digging into the titan's foot and up into the body and made my way up to the top the long way. When I reached the top and turned into my humanoid for and was blinded by a large white light.

I did not see Vecna, but I saw the whole temple being torn asunder and everyone started falling. I jumped up and turned to a (Rathalos/Rathian) and flew to pick up anyone I could. The first one I found was Grog holding onto a rod. "(Y/n)!" I fly below him, and he jumps down on top of me. We then fly down to the ground to find the rest of the group, and we find everyone else huddled around a young half elf girl. I land and drop off Grog and revert into my humanoid form. Grog ran up to the others and I stood back to watch. As I was watching a resurrection ritual, my siblings landed by me and reverted to their humanoid forms. Ruby and Rocco stood at my sides while the others split sides.

After a few minutes, the young girl awoke. Vex and Vax were hugging her with Trinket. When all the hugs were done, they turned to see me, and they walked over to me and I to them and they gave me a group hug. Once the hug was over, they all asked me the same question. "How did you get here? Why did you come back?" "I had a feeling that you guys were in some deep shit, and I was right, and then my siblings decided to join the fight." I turned and motioned them to come up to us. "These are my siblings. Ruby, Rocco, Sadie, Axel, Luna, Harley, Rider, and Damon." As we continued, a portal opened behind us and our father appeared. He motioned his hand to us, and they all started walking back. I took a few steps before stopping. Father looked to me as the others walked through.

"I want to stay here." He stood there for a second before nodding and waved his hand. He then turned to the portal, and before he went through, he turned his head to me, "I'm proud of you." And walked through the portal. I smiled and turned back to the group. "I like it here with you guys. I know I have a family, but you guys are my family as well." We were interrupted by some soldiers telling us to meet The Baron in the center of Vasselheim. I morphed into Safi'jiiva, and they all got on and we flew to the destination. As we flew, we could hear the crowds cheering and chanting about the defeat of Vecna. 'This is definitely one of the most positive impacts I think I have ever done, and I don't think anything can top it.'
