"This is amazing, Mark. We already have 4 potential project deals. How did you get an invite  for this event again?"

"Well, one of the sponsors of this event sent me an invitation"

"Hmm" Jodi just nods and gather the folders on their table getting ready to leave soon.

It has been more than a week since she last saw Yoongi. After what happened that night, she never answered any of his text messages or calls. Yoongi even called her office few times but she just let all his calls go straight to her voicemail.

Suddenly, she's scared to see Yoongi again.  

She's scared of how her heart changed after that night.

"I need to go to the washroom first. Just wait here, I won't take long" Jodi said to Mark before leaving their table. After about 15 minutes, she went out from the washroom in the far corner of the hall. She was about to go back to their table but a hand grabs her one arm and stops her. She turns and her heart almost jump out of her chest.

"We need to talk"

"This is not the right place to talk, Yoongi" Jodi pulls her arm but Yoongi only holds her tighter.

"You're running away from me. You never answer any of my calls. You can't do that after what happened"

"Stop!" Jodi's voice was, unintentionally loud that caught the attention of some other guests that makes her feel embarrassed.  "I can't talk to you here so just let me go" she softly said to avoid getting any unwanted attention.

Still, Yoongi wont let her go.

"Yoongi, what's going on here?" The elegant looking lady came next to Yoongi.

"This is none of you business, Kate" he said without taking his eyes off from Jodi.

Jodi can't help but look at the lady next to Yoongi. She's pretty and obviously rich. Somehow she feels insecure, especially on how the lady looks at Yoongi. She's more than just an officemate, Jodi can feel it.

"Stop making a scene, people are looking at you" then her eyes scans Jodi from head to foot before looking back at Yoongi. "Whoever she is, just let her go and let's go back to our table"

But Yoongi didn't move a muscle.

Mark noticed the scene when he looked around to find where Jodi is. Judging by the way Jodi swing her arm to free herself and the look on her face, he knew she is in trouble. He need to do something.

The other guests are whispering to each other, wondering what's happening between Min Yoongi and some random girl. Of course they know Yoongi being one of the owner of the leading company in electronic industry. Yoongi later realized and he felt anxious, not only for him, but also for Jodi. He knew Jodi would feel uncomfortable and he doesn't want that.

"Yoongi, let's go" Kate grabs Yoongi's arm.

Things are getting complicated in every second. Now, Kate is holding Yoongi  who is holding Jodi. More guests are noticing the drama and that's not good.

"Yoongi!" Kate calls again and Yoongi defeatedly look at her while gently letting Jodi's arm go.

Jodi pulls her arm even before Yoongi can completely take his hand off her. Then she turns just in time for Mark to reach her.

"Are you okay?" Mark worriedly asks.

"Let's just leave" Jodi's voice is a bit shaky like she's about to cry.

Mark and Jodi walks out of the hall, leaving Yoongi who went back to their table with Kate following him.
