Elena and the United Republics of Earth

Chapter 6

(Naomi's POV)

Elena was listening to Ivy tell Shuriki about everything that led up to her finding out with help from Sofia that her island prison was actually her kingdom. "So, you mean to tell me that the princess who freed Elena and helped overthrow me, made you see the error of your ways and when she mysteriously came to your island prison she helped you realize that you already had a kingdom of your own?" Shuriki said in shock.

Ivy looked at her sister and then at Sofia; "Why of course, and if not for her I wouldn't have discovered that the island prison where I was living was actually my own kingdom. And without Sofia helping me come to that realization, I'd have never changed who I was and even opened up to Sofia and thus, forming a bond of kinship that eventually bloomed into friendship. That princess really is unique. And if I could befriend her; then maybe you can too, sis."

Shuriki looked over towards Sofia. "If she can do all the things that you said; then she really is a very unique princess!" Shuriki said in response to her sister. "Sofia, I know that in the past you and Elena were my enemies, but now seeing as we are aligned against a common foe; I'm curious to know, how exactly are you able to befriend everyone you meet? I mean; you befriended my sister who was more like me and you helped her find redemption. How do you do it?"

Sofia smiled and said; "Shuriki, you seem like you are interested in knowing more about who I am. Either you have ulterior motives about what I do or you're intrigued by what I do and possibly want to change who you are, I'm not sure which one it is. But I am considering telling you how am I able to do what I do." Sofia continued; "I'm only considering telling you, but I haven't decided whether or not to do so."

Shuriki nodded as though she understood and then she went to find her niece Su to make sure that she was safe. Elena and I followed her so that way she could be kept safe. After a short trek down the corridor to a nearby room where we found Su and Amber unharmed. Upon reaching we found Amber and Su were unharmed and Shuriki was glad they were both okay. "Everyone is safe in here that's good to know, Shuriki, now that you know your niece; Su and Amber are safe, we need you to come with us."

Shuriki nodded, hugged Su and Amber then she followed Elena and I out of the room. The three of us headed to find Sofia and our allies, when we reached the sanctuary we saw that only Sofia and Ivy remained there. "Where did everybody else go?!" Elena asked Sofia, who responded; "Elena, everybody left to chase after the assassins that escaped. Ivy and I stayed here to make sure Amber and Su were safe. Since you, Naomi and Shuriki went to check up on them I take it they're fine!" Shuriki nodded her head; "Yes, my niece is a bit shaken up, the same with Amber. They still want to get married, even more now that there was an attempt on Su's and Amber's lives. What do we do?!"

Elena and I looked at one another and then we looked at Sofia. "Sofia, what if we have a party ceremony for Amber and Su and then once we know it is safe; we will have a bigger wedding ceremony for them? What do you think about that Shuriki?!" Shuriki smiled and answered; "That sounds like a great idea, Your Majesty! I'll go and get Amber and Su and bring them back here, we'll proceed with a secret wedding ceremony and then I recommend that you and Naomi do a secret wedding ceremony as well! You never know what could happen! At least if you have a secret wedding ceremony and one of you was to end up dead, the wife of the deceased would inherit almost everything belonging to her dead spouse. Plus, the kingdoms of the EverRealm would know that you two were married before one of you died."

Elena and I looked at one another and then they both agreed. "Elena dear, let's get married, even a secret ceremony would still mean that we're married. Also, let's help Amber and Su get married as well!" Naomi said excitedly. I kissed Elena and then we proceeded to have a secret wedding ceremony for Amber and Su, followed by a secret ceremony for Elena and myself. Once Elena and I were wives, and Amber was Su's wife we would tell the people of our kingdoms, and have them keep the marriages secret from the rest of the EverRealm."

After a few minutes; Amber and Su came into the Sanctuary and then proceeded with their secret marriage ceremony. Once they both said their "I Do's", they shared their first kiss as wives and then we proceeded to mine and Elena's secret ceremony. Then once Elena and I were married, we decided to have a joint honeymoon with Amber and Su, as well as; Sofia and Hildegard. We would be leaving for our joint honeymoon as soon as Hildegard returned.
