Y/N 's POV

Mr. Jang's class is boring as usual, I sit silently at my table not hearing anything he says.

The bell rang, so I grabbed all my belongings and walked out of class hurriedly. Not wanting to stay in that hell hole any longer.

I wait for Emma outside the class and we walk to the cafeteria together. "Thanks again Emma I got detention because of you," I glared at her.

"I'm sorry Y/N I will make it up to you," she apologized. Actually, I will not get mad at Emma. I'm just messing with her a little bit.

"No need Emma I'm just messing with you, what are you going to talk about?" I asked.

"er-mm I'm super nervous" she scratched her neck.

"so...." She said trailing off. 

"Jackson asked me out..." my eyes bulged out.

"WHAT?! FOR REAL? OMG EMMA" I gasped and hugged her.

"Lower your voice Y/N!!!" she hissed.

"Finally, the day has come!" I jump around her.

"What do you mean?" Emma asked. 

"I have been shipping you two for so long" I giggled.

Emma just laughed and dragged me to our usual table. Jackson was already sitting at our usual spot so I sneaked behind him and smacked his back.

"I'm happy for you two," I pinch his and Emma cheeks lightly. Emma blushed. 

"I'll grab my food first" and she left me with Jackson.

"I never thought you would make the first move" I asked Jackson.

"You never noticed that I stop screwing girls?" He said.

"Oh wow!! Is it because of Emma?"

"Y-yeah I think?" he shrugged. 

"Ahh you guys are so cute!!! I'm glad that you're willing to change for her" I smiled at him and Emma suddenly came back.

I fake cry "My ship is finally sailing," I wipe my non-existent tears away.

They look at me weirdly and laugh. I smile seeing them making some progress with their relationship. They are perfect for each other.

"Okay, eat your lunch couple. I'm going to go" I said as I got up from the table. 

"Wait! Where are you going Y/N?" Emma asked.

"I don't want to third wheel you guys obviously" I rolled my eyes and they looked uncomfortable.

"I'm kidding guys, I am going to the rooftop. I will sleep a little bit there," I laughed and they look relieved. 

"Okay see you at the class" I waved and left them.

As I arrived at the rooftop I sighed, the door was locked. So, I went down and went to the field. 

I sit under the tree and just enjoyed the sound of the bird chirping. I think it's the perfect day to sit outside because the weather's not hot at all.

I close my eyes and start to doze off when suddenly someone taps me on my nose. I jolted awake.

"What are you doing here all alone?" There stood Jae Beom and he started to sit beside me.

"U-hmm I just want to sleep" I shrugged and looked at my lap.

He smiled and looked at me "Have I told you that you're pretty?"

"Er-r I don't know," I blushed.

"Okay I'm going to say it again, you're very pretty Y/N" he gazed longingly at me.

My blush deepened "T-thank you, you look good too," 

"Er-m I mean u-m-mh yeahh" I didn't know what to say.

Great Y/N you're embarrassing yourself in front of the class I silently smack myself. He laughed "Don't be so nervous around me." Jae Beom said.

"Okay" I answered shyly.

"Er-m do you want to go home together? today the team decided to have a little break, so no practice today" he asked smiling at me.

Wait is it real? Did I miss something? I can't believe that my crush asked me this thing.

I want to scream yes, but realization hit me "I want to, but today I have detention after school, Sorry..." I say apologetically.

"I can wait for you Y/N if you want" he scratched his neck shyly. Did I just see Jae Beom getting all shy because of me? So cute.

"It's okay, you don't have to wait for me. I don't want you to wait for me" I smiled.

Suddenly the bell rang "That's our cue to go back, let's go!" I start walking towards the school building first. I stupidly left him behind because I'm too nervous with the situation.

Jae Beom's POV

She is really pretty, that sweet smile on her face really gets me every time. What are you doing to me Y/N?

I still sit under the tree and put my hand on my chest as I feel my heart beating uncontrollably. I smile seeing her walking towards the school building.

I still remember the first time I met her. The girl from the park that hasn't left my mind. The dog running and her falling.

I was shocked the next day to find out that she is in the same school as me. 

I notice her staring at me when I introduce myself in front of the class. But I just get confused why she didn't approach me that day.

Didn't she remember who I am or is she the person I'm not expecting. I didn't approach her because I was afraid that she would not like me and that she would leave me.

Will I finally get you after all this time??
