Y/N's POV
We turned our heads and saw JK walking with two other guys, I think that they are his hyung. I looked at Jae Beom and I saw his face get a little bit irritated. I put my hands on his to show him that it's okay. He relaxed a little bit and he intertwined our hand together.
"Hey JK! What are you doing?" Jae Beom asked him.
"Oh, I take my hyung to eat ice cream here. Oh, hi to you too!!" JK smiled and waved at me.
"Hi!" I smiled back at him.
"Oh yeah, these are my hyung." JK said as he introduced the two guys to us.
I said hi and bow towards them. They also bow towards me "Let's go, I want to eat pistachio ice cream!!" The one who wear black sunglasses said.
I am confused as to why people wear black sunglasses at night. I mean how can you see things sunglasses are practically made to be worn in the sun. Oh, maybe he got some eye issues I thought, I didn't want to look rude so I didn't stare at him for too long.
"They don't have pistachio flavour here, but they have the mint chocolate chip one. It's really good." I said to the one with the sunglasses. He scrunched his face in disgust.
"No, mint chocolate tastes like toothpaste, chocolate is good but mint I don't think so-" he starts to rant.
JK suddenly cuts off seeing that his hyung is about to give one of his usual opinions. "Okay let's go hyung! We should get the ice cream now before the shop closes and then home to give it to the others."
"B-but mint flavour-" he gets cut off as JK drags him away.
I chuckled at them. The other hyung starts apologizing for his friend's behaviour and he jogs to JK, he looks small for a moment, but if I stand next to him I am the small one here...
"They are funny," I said to Jae Beom, we didn't realize that our ice cream is already gone.
"Yeah, I know I wish I had another sibling," Jae Beom said.
"Yeah, me too being the only child sometimes feels a little bit lonely." I said looking at him
"Do you want to walk around?" Jae Beom asked.
"Yes, let's go!" we get up from the bench and start to walk hand in hand. I saw an old couple walking in front us and smiling, I smiled back at them.
"They are so cute, I want to be like them to grow old together," I said giggling.
"Yes, we will be like them." Jae Beom cleared his throat and murmured. I turned towards him and smiled, poking his cheeks.
"You're cute!" he laughed.
I want to get married but we are still young, I don't want to rush things. I know if he is the one for me God will make us a way and give us signs.
I want to live in a moment like this where I have time to not worry about anything and put all my problems away. I don't know why but it feels relaxing to walk at night.
"So-o let's continue where we left behind," Jae Beom said.
"Yes, what are you going to tell me?" I asked and he started to stroke my hands.
"I just want to say that I always like you, since the first time we met at this park," He looked at me.
"I didn't know that we would be in the same junior high school after our encounter, I guess it is fate that God made us meet each other that day at the park." I smiled at him and let him continue.
"I didn't know why you never noticed me, I thought you already forgot who I am, and I am scared to approach you first. I know it's silly but I went to the same high school as you so I can look at you," he laughed.
"I thought I am the one that looks like a creeper here to meet you again at this high school" I said and smiled sheepishly at him.
"I'm kidding, I'm not saying that you're a creeper. You are too cute to be a creeper." I said and pinched his cheeks. I notice his cheeks got a little tinted but it's dark outside so it's hard to see.
"Your eyes, your smile, your lips, your voice, and your sweet scents always on my mind every day." Jae Beom gazed at my eyes and I felt his eyes start to gaze down at my lips.
I'm too shocked to even react to this sudden confession, so I hug him and put my head on his chest. I inhaled his scent and I feel fuzzy in my stomach. I think he uses cologne and he smells good. His arm encircles my waist and he starts to stroke my hair.
"You don't have to answer me right now, I will give you time to answer until our school trip." Jae Beom said, and I nod my head smiling at him. We are in this position for a long time and I feel really content with him being by my side.
"Shall we go home? It's getting pretty late." He asked and I nodded my head yes. We walk back to our car and start to talk about random things and plan for the school trip.
Eventually as we talked, we arrived at my house. We get out of my car and I walk to him. "Thanks for today Jae, I am really happy and also congrats for winning the game." I said to him.
"Thanks! sleep tight pretty girl!" Jae Beom said and hugged me.
"Close your eyes first," I said to him.
"For what?" He asked.
"Just close your eyes..." I whined.
"Okay okay." Jae Beom said and he closed his eyes.
My heart is hammering so fast as I am about to do my next move, "Goodnight, see you later..." I said to him and peck the corner of his lips.
Before he could react, I bolt to my house and close the door. I leaned my body to the door and I smiled to myself.
