Y/N 's POV
"Y/N"
I looked back and saw Jae Beom start walking towards me. "Hey!" Jae Beom said and smiled at me.
"Um h-hey," I returned his smile.
"Are you going home?" he asked.
"Y-yeah I'm going home now." I stutter
"Can I walk you home?" he asked.
"Oh no, it's okay my house is not that far from here." I said.
"I will walk you home, it's getting pretty late now besides I want to talk to you" he smiled.
"Y-yeah sure" I stutter again. Damn why did I have to stutter so much.
"Wait, I will grab my bag and say goodbye for my friends," he jogged back towards his friends.
I heard he said to the new kid "I'll see you tomorrow, don't forget the same time here we will practice again."
"Yes Jae Beom'' the new kid replied.
"See you later JK'' Jae Beom waves at him. Oh so that's his name JK. I guess it's Jeon K something.
I wait for him in front of the door while fumbling with my bag strap and my glasses. Yeah, I wear my glasses because I have bad eyesight. What do you expect? I usually spent my time in front of my laptop.
"Are you ready?" he asked from behind me.
"Y-yeah let's go." We walk out silently from school.
I am super nervous by just walking beside him and my hands start to get clammy, I really want to ask if he is the one who sent the note or not.
"So..." he said trailing off
"Did you see my note on your locker?" Jae Beom asked.
"Yeah that's why I'm watching you practice." I answer
"O-ohh, I thought you came to see someone else," he said groggily. I just laughed at how awkward this conversation is.
"Why did you send me the letter?" I asked curiously.
"I just want to spend time with you." Suddenly he stops and turns to look at me.
"I want to know you," he smiled at me. I just stare at him not knowing what to do and smile
FLASHBACK
At that time, I was still in my Junior High School first year. I am walking with my dog to the park near my house when suddenly the dog starts to run.
The dog leash starts to fall out of my grasp and I run out after him "Mannie!!! Come back here"
I ran around the park yelling his name "Mannie!!!" I started to get closer to him. I sped up my pace to grab his leash, but I failed and I fell down.
"That damn dog," I grumble and notice that there's some blood on my knees. I hiss out in pain.
Suddenly there's someone in front of me "are you okay?" I see a boy standing there holding Mannie.
"Yeah I'm okay, just scraping my knees a little" I tried to get up but my knees gave out and I almost fell again. Suddenly he starts to grab my hand and help me walk to the nearby bench.
"I suppose this is your dog" he stated, "Yeah, thanks for catching him."
"Wait sit here, I will bring you something" and leave me alone. I held Mannie tightly. I didn't want him to run again.
5 minutes later he came back with a plastic bag in his hand, I think he went to the convenience store nearby. "Let me clean your wounds," I just stared at him.
"I-it's o-okay I'm fine," I say hurriedly.
"No, it will get infected if it's not cleaned properly" I sat silently watching him clean my wound.
I hissed out when the rubbing alcohol touched my wound "Stay still." he said.
After he cleaned up my wound "There all done," he smiled. "Thank you so much you don't have to do this," I thanked him.
"A pretty girl like you should never get hurt" he said smiling and I blushed.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"My name is Jae Beom, Park Jae Beom," he smiled and asked back "What is your name?"
"Y/N, Choi Y/N" I said and looked at my phone.
"Shit! I have to go home now my mom is going to be mad. Thank you for everything Jae Beom" I waved at him.
0"Your welcome Y/N" he waved back.
I smiled as I went back home. Little did I know that I will meet him the next day at my school. He is the new student at my school. He just moved out from America.
I never get the chance to talk to him because he became a popular kid so I just gave up on approaching him.
That's my first meeting with Jae Beom. He is really such a gentleman. Because he is popular among the kids I just watch him from afar.
END OF FLASHBACK
"You can ask me whatever you want to know about me," I said shyly.
As I realized what I just said I gaped "Uh-mm I mean if you want to," I answered nervously.
"I want to ask you a lot of questions," he grins and taps the tip of my nose.
"I think this is my stop" as I point to my house and turn to look at him.
"I guess I'll see you tomorrow?" I asked, trying to hide my blush.
"Yeah I will see you tomorrow" he waved. I waved back at him and start to walk to my house when suddenly he shouted,
"Goodnight Y/N, sweet dreams" I turn to him and grin
"Goodnight Jae" I said.
