Y/N 's POV
After my surprise move toward Jae Beom last night, he started being shy around me. School ended as usual but thankfully the teacher didn't give us any assignment because tomorrow we will be going on a school trip tomorrow.
When lunch time came Jae Beom sat with me, Emma, and Jackson at the cafeteria. I told Jae Beom that today I will go home with Emma today because we want to buy things for the trip and he's okay with that. When we're sitting at the cafeteria I saw Mina and her minions pass by and she didn't look happy at all.
When the school ended, Jackson dropped me and Emma off at the mall. Emma buys a ton of new clothes, not just for the trip but she said it's also for the next date with Jackson. I facepalm my face because of how she thinks.
Because it will be sunny in Busan we bought a lot of summer clothes. Tomorrow we will be going by bus the school provides. I am so excited for the trip knowing that we will be very near to the beach.
When we're done shopping, we go home and I start to pack all things that will be needed for the trip. After I'm done and talk to my mom that tomorrow I will be on the school trip I texted Jae Beom a message that mom will drop me off to school tomorrow.
I think mom already knows that there's something between me and Jae Beom even when I always deny her. Well we're not dating yet, but I plan on to introduce him to my mom. Actually, I really wanted to answer him that night but I didn't want to make the wrong decision.
After thinking about it and telling Emma about everything she said that I should try but don't take things too fast. Well she didn't know that I kissed him...
The next morning, I woke up and started to get ready. I brought my luggage downstairs and ate breakfast with my mom. Mom said that she wanted to meet Jae Beom first before the trip, and I said okay or she will get fussy.
I texted Jae Beom to meet me at my car and that mom wants to meet him. I feel sorry for him because mom will blabber a lot of things to him and I hope mom didn't embarrass me. I sighed and put my luggage in the car trunk and mom drove off to the school.
Our car parked at the school parking lot and noticed that Jae Beom's car was already beside mine, and he's already waiting. I smiled to myself and mom noticed me smiling and started to tease me.
"Look your prince charming is already waiting for you." She cooed at me and I blush.
"Mom, don't start..." I try to hide my blush.
I get out of my car and approach his car, I notice that JK is also standing beside him.
"Hi guys!" I said to both of them and they responded "Hi!!"
"Can I borrow your friend here for a second?" I said looking at JK.
"Sure, I'm going to meet with the other guys too." He said and walked away.
"Be prepared." I whispered to him and he laughed. I start to drag him towards my car.
Mom gets out of the car to greet Jae Beom. "Hello, Mrs. Choi my name is Jae Beom." He started to bow to my mom.
"Hi, I already hear a lot about you from my daughter." She chuckled. Well I talk to mom about Jae Beom but not that many.
"Oh really?" Jae Beom asked and looked at me chuckling.
"Yeah, she talks about you every day." Mom wiggled her eyebrows towards me.
"Mom! Stop embarrassing me." I bet my cheeks flushed like a tomato now. Jae Beom chuckled at how I act.
"Now I know where your daughter gets her good looks from?" Jae Beom said and winked at me secretly.
"Yeah, I like him Y/N! I approve for both of you" Mom whispered to me and chuckled.
"Thank you, Jae Beom! Can you watch her on the trip?" Mom suddenly asked him.
"Yeah sure Mrs. Choi I will look after her." Jae Beom said.
"She can be handful sometimes you know..." Mom chuckled. Urgh... why mom has to do this to me.
"Don't worry, I will keep her in her place," he chuckled.
"Okay then I trust you, I'm going to work now. Grab your luggage Y/N" Mom said as she opened the car trunk.
As I wanted to grab my luggage Jae Beom came beside me and said "Here let me help you!"
"U-uh thanks." I said. Mom starts to whisper at me again.
"Another plus point for him, he has good manners." I only smiled at my mom.
"Okay I will see you in the next two days bye you guys!" Mom said and waved at both of us. Before she closed her car door she said
"Don't forget to wear protection kids! As I love to have a grandchild both of you are still too young." Before I could respond she closed her car door and drove away.
I can't believe what my mom just said, I am a tomato now. Jae Beom chuckled at my reaction. "Your mom is so straight forward, I like her," Jae Beom said.
"I'm sorry for my mom, she has never been like this before." I apologized.
"It's okay, I like your mom! Let's go to the school entrance now the teachers are taking attendance." he pinched my cheeks and grabbed my hands.
After the teacher checked the students' attendance we went on the school bus. I sat with Jae Beom on the far back of the bus, Emma and Jackson sat in the middle row, surprisingly JK sat with Baekhyun two rows from our seat, I didn't know that they are friends with each other. And as for Mina and her minions, they are on the different bus.
The bus starts to drive off, me and Jae Beom play our phone game and talk a lot of things. As time passes by I start to feel a little bit sleepy.
I feel Jae Beom adjust my head on his shoulder and he starts to stroke my hand and kiss me on my forehead "Sweet dreams Y/N," he whispered, and I let sleep consume me.
