The Beginning - Jennie

"Hey!!" Jennie cheerfully greeted her boyfriend, reaching up and placing a small, short kiss on his cheek. "How was the drive?" she asked, opening the door wider. He smiled, brushing past her and into her apartment,

"It was good."

She held back a sigh. He was never one to continue conversations if it wasn't linked to his work. So, she smiled because that's all she knew to do. But then, a sound of a tired huff caused her eyes to follow the source of the voice and oh my, what a sight.

A tall, slender woman, sweat sliding down her slender arms, tank top sticking onto her stomach, exposing her toned stomach just slightly with face, just from the side, already looking to way too perfect. She resembled a doll, plump lips, pretty nose along with doe eyes that held amusement. Wait, amusement?

Oh shit!

Jennie found herself blushing deeply as those doe eyes caught her shamelessly scanning her body and she hoped her eyes held anything but arousal. The brunette immediately rushed into her room and slammed the door shut, panting slightly with widened eyes.

Who was that girl?

New neighbor perhaps? She couldn't stop the smile from spreading.

"Time for cookies!"

"Girls! I'm having a crisis!!"

Jennie shouted through the screen of her computer. She was on a group call with her best friends whom she has known most of her life. Jisoo furrowed her brows and immediately opened a chip bag,

"Spill."

"What happened Jen?" Chaeyoung asked, a look of concern held in her almond eyes. Jennie exhaled deeply,

"Well, so I recently got a new neighbor and guys, she's absolutely amazing." Jennie spoke, softly and maybe excitedly. "She's just so fun to be around even when it's only been a two months of knowing her." She didn't realize it until she zoomed in on her own face in the screen. Her smile was so wide that she just noticed the ache in her cheeks. Jisoo then furrowed her brows, wiping the crumbs off her lips,

"Still waiting for the crisis..."

Jennie then groaned and pinched the skin between her brows, "That's the thing, I'm feeling way too happy whenever I'm around her! I don't even feel this way when I'm around Tae!!" She admitted, dropping her hand to place them on her temples, massaging and hoping for the stress to just vanish.

"What is it about Lisa that makes you happy?" Chaeyoung asked. And it didn't even take too long for Jennie to respond because, it wasn't hard to explain.

"It's because she listens."

Lisa's quiet yes, but her eyes never were.

From the beginning, Lisa's eyes always seemed focused, and observant. She studies every expression and every detail on Jennie's face. Although, she'd never admit to this until months later but Jennie always had to look away to hide her blush.

Those beautiful doe eyes studied every little thing, from the shape of her brows, to the way her eyes crinkle when Jennie is genuinely happy. To the corners of her lips, as if checking if they're either turned upwards or downwards.

Jennie knows she's a rambler and always worried that because of her bubbly personality, Lisa would be uncomfortable. But, it was never the case. Lisa listened to every ridiculous thing that came out of her mouth with so much interest and Jennie just finds her wonderful.

Chaeyoung hummed, "Why does that sound like a bad thing Jen?"

"It's because I'm scared of how right it feels. What does this all mean?"

A sudden smirk appeared on Jisoo's lips, "Hey Jen? I want to meet her. Set up a hang out."

Present

"Wake up beautiful."

Jennie felt a caress on her cheek by soft, delicate lips and she couldn't stop her smile from growing as she slowly fluttered her eyes open and met a bright smile and loving eyes. She hummed as the thumb swept over her cheek bone, up to her hair, threading her fingers through,

"Good morning," Jennie whispered, smiling as Lisa leaned down and pressed a soft, warm kiss on her forehead whispering words she knows she'd forever cherish against her skin,

"Good morning Mrs. Manoban."

She truly did love her unconditionally.
