As soon as they arrived on the Isle, they parked their bikes in one of the alleys. The VKs soon turned off the engines before everyone hopped off the motorbikes and placed their helmets on the handlebars. Chills ran through every inch of Rylee's body as she took in the familiar surroundings, something she tried not to do when she first returned. Another long moment passed before the Fitzherbert girl looked over at Morgan, only to find the redheaded girl already staring back at her with uncertainty in her eyes. A long sigh managed to escape Rylee's lips before she shook off all her unwanted feelings to focus back on the situation at hand.
"Hey!" Mal exclaimed, drawing everyone's attention to her to find her looking down at her hands with a smile on her face, "I'm me again!"
"Duh. Evil magic doesn't work here," Celia scoffed while gesturing around at the alley and rolling her eyes at the purple-haired girl, "kinda the point."
Rylee and Morgan couldn't help but exchange a look with Carlos and Jay before the four of them laughed. It wasn't long after that when they followed Celia down the path that would take them to her father's shop. A large smile formed on the curly-haired girl's face after they stopped in front of a door that read "Pa Deranje." Celia soon lifted her hand in the air and knocked to a beat on the door. The Fitzherbert girl was shocked when a pounding came from the other side, to which the Facilier girl responded with another series of knocks. Celia then looked back at the four teens with an even bigger grin on her face as the door slid open.
Celia instantly gestured for them to follow before she entered the building. It didn't take much more than that for the six older teens to walk in after her. Once they got to the main part of the building, Rylee's eyes widened at the sight of all the old arcade games that filled the large room. Her eyes soon scanned over the guests without thinking, looking for someone familiar to her. Unknown to her, Jay and Morgan were watching her with sad looks in their eyes.
"Daddy!" Celia called out, drawing Rylee's attention back to the situation at hand as the young girl rushed towards her father.
"Here she is!" Dr. Facilier responded as he picked up his daughter and spun her around in a circle. As soon as he placed her back on her feet, the pair did a little dance together and walked to another corner of the room.
While the father-daughter duo went to have a private conversation, Rylee and the rest of their group walked around to explore the building. Jay and Morgan instantly went to check out some games while Mal and Evie stayed back and talked amongst themselves. A small smile formed on Rylee's face as she took everything in before going with Carlos to look at the TV randomly placed in the middle of the room. The De Vil boy sat down on the chair in front of the TV with Rylee standing behind him before the former placed a coin in the slot, making the news appear on the screen.
