A/N: This one is going to be a mortal's meet the amazing Rachel Elizabeth Dare. So it is not going to be a mortal's meet demigods but a mortal's meet the Oracle of Delphi. Ok, now that everything is cleared out, let's get a move onto the story.

Hi, I am Tessa Logan. I am a senior at Clarion Ladies Academy in New York City, New York. I have light green eyes and red hair, I also have pale skin and a few freckles. I am friends with the only other red head from the school, I know what are the odds of the two redheads becoming friends, I don't know. We just have a lot of the same interests, like how we hate how rich our families are and how they spend their money and how we both like painting and drawing. Oh by the way, the girl I am talking about is Rachel Elizabeth Dare.

About three months ago the Greek Gods and Goddesses revealed themselves. They stated that the protection that they had that separated the mortal and godly world, called the mist, was slowly disappearing. This was happening because the Goddess Hecate was put into a deep slumber because she was cursed with a virus not even Apollo or Asclepius (God of medicine, Apollo's son) could even cure. The only way to slow the virus was putting her into a coma, but that led the mist into fading.

Today we are having an assembly where we will meet the Greek Gods and Goddesses. I can tell that Rachel is really nervous about the assembly. I don't know why she would be though. I mean it's not like the Gods and Goddesses are scary or like they would already know her. Right?

Rachel and I were sitting in manners class when the intercom came on. I looked over at Rachel and she had paled, like physically paled. She looked really scared and nervous.

"Mortals, please report to the auditorium immediately for the assembly," said a very loud voice from the intercom. I don't recognize the voice, so I wonder whose it could be. I got out of my seat and walked out of the classroom with the rest of the girls in my class, making my way towards Rachel. We walked to the auditorium and sat down in one of the very last rows of seats. Rachel slumped down in her seat and pulled her hair over her face, a position our teachers would not approve here at Clarion.

I looked up at the auditorium stage and saw fourteen godlike people, each sitting on a throne. They were the Greek Gods and Goddesses. A man in a pinstripe suit walked up to the front of the stage.

"Hello mortals, I am Zeus, King of the Gods, god of the sky and lighting," said the man in the suit. Then a man wearing bermudas and a Hawaiian shirt, holding a trident came up next to Zeus.

"Hi, I am Poseidon, god of the sea, horses and earthquakes. Today we will be telling you about the demigods and how they saved your lives," said the God now dubbed Poseidon. Then a man who looked like if sunshine was a person got out of his throne.

"Now, if my best friend and oracle could please come up to introduce themselves please," said the sunshine man. None of the girls from the audience moved for a good two minutes. "If you come up here I will get you another blue plastic hairbrush and new paints," the God said, which I am now thinking is Apollo.

"Alright, fine Apollo. But I am not your best friend, leave that job for Artemis. Also if you don't get me a new hair brush and paints I will personally beat you with my other hair brush and you know that I am not kidding. I did it to a titan so I can easily do it to you," said a voice from the crowd. Rachel stood from her seat and started walking towards the stage.

"Come on Rach, you know that I am your best friend," Apollo said.

"No you are not. Say that again and I will bring out the hairbrush," Rachel said while climbing up the stairs of the stage.

"Alright chill, no need to bring out the deadly hair brush," Apollo said to Rachel. "Now will you formally introduce yourself to the students here?" he asked.

"Ugh, fine. Rachel Elizabeth Dare, the mortal Oracle of Delphi. Wander of the Labyrinth. Hit the Titan lord Kronos in the eye with my hair brush," Rachel said to the auditorium of students.

"You what to the Titan lord?" Asked a random student.

"When I was fourteen years old, I threw my blue plastic hair brush, which I still have, at the Titan lord Kronos. My hair brush hit Kronos in his eye. Well, actually it was Luke Castellan that I hit with my hair brush but Kronos was embodying Luke anyways." Rachel said, her face going from a happy look to a sad one when she started talking about the kid Luke.

"Wait, Rachel. So are you like a mortal or are you like a demigod or something?" Another student asked.

"I am a mortal but I am the host for the Oracle of Delphi, I could also see through the mist before it came down," Rachel answered. Then she turned to Apollo and looked him straight into the eyes. "Apollo, let's go take the Sun Chariot to an art store and then to Walmart. I want those new paints and blue plastic hair brush you promised me. I also want to make it to Camp by tomorrow morning because they are playing capture the flag against the hunters tomorrow night, and I want to see the hunters while they are in town," Rachel said to the God, without stuttering.

"Come on then, let's go. I don't want to make you late so that I get attacked by the blue plastic hair brush," Apollo said. Then Rachel and all the Gods and Goddesses started laughing.

"Ok, lets go now. I also kind of want to stop by the Jackson-Blofis, I haven't seen Estelle in forever and she is just getting so big," Rachel said.

"Alright, I wouldn't mind stopping at the Jackson-Blofis residence either. Plus Estelle is really cute," Apollo said. After that, Rachel and Apollo started walking out of the auditorium talking. Then a lady with cold, grey eyes and dark hair walked up to the front of the stage.

"Hello, I am Lady Athena, now that everything is cleared up. Let's get to the story of how the demigods saved your lives," said the Lady.

For the next eight hours all of us here at Clarion Ladies Academy learned about how Percy Jackson and his demigod friends saved the world twice. The story was very sad and interesting and I cried at least three times. I never did see Rachel Elizabeth Dare again, I do miss her. But I was able to get through the rest of the school year here at Clarion, good thing was that we were seniors.
