DAY 122

--

Semestral break started three days ago and you won't freaking believe this. Our parents told us to live together, under the same roof to "get-to-know-each-other". But that's not the point. I mean, I'm only 17 for Pete's sake! And they will let me live with a man? But I don't have the right to protest because I already agreed to this. SO I guess I just have to obey it.

--
"It's okay sweetie, we've been there before." Deyn told me.

"Nathan is a good cook; besides we trust him." Said Van.

"Are you saying that you actually trust a guy with your little sister in a condo unit?" I asked.

"Of course, mom and dad trusted us when we lived with our fiancés before." - Vhel.

"Yep." Said Joaquin.

"Are you kidding me? We're different. You four, are in love with your partners. Me and him is far beyond possible." I hissed.

"You don't like him?"

"Yes."

"Nathan is the most handsome guy among us and he's good at everything. Why don't you like him?" – Deyn

"Yeah, except for talking." I exhaled in frustration. "We're like dogs and cats inside that house. And you know where I sleep? I always sleep on the couch because I always lose the game—"

"Well that's cute" – Vhel

"Then win the game next time." Joaquin laughed

"Argh! And he spends an hour taking a bath!"

"Wow he really wants to smell good for  you." Kuya shrugged.

"He doesn't want me talking, saying I'm too loud when I talk with my groupmates over the phone."

"You're really loud though." I face palmed.

"Never mind." I said disappointedly.

"Look dear, you won't be getting along with each other if you keep on watching all his  bad sides." – Vhel

"Just try to understand him and start having a normal conversation with him."  - Van

"The key to understand the guy you are living with, is to not ask what but to ask why. So tell me, why don't you like Nathan?" – Deyn.

How would I tell them it's because I like someone else?

DAY 125

Maybe Vhel was right. I don't see any good at him because I only see what I want to see. Since then, I tried to understand him and started seeing who he really is. Not his poker faced, girlish side in taking a bath or a guy who always win the game to get the bed for the night. But the guy who looks even more handsome whenever he's lost in his thoughts.  Thoughts that I never imagined he will share with me.

--

I remember losing the rock paper scissors game again last night, resulting to sleep on the couch as usual. But then I woke up today on our bouncy, comfortable bed. As soon as I smelled bacon and eggs for breakfast, I rushed to the kitchen.

"I was about to wake you up." He gently said as he prepared food and plates on the table.

"Why am I on the bed? Did you carry me to it?"
