DAY 158Nathan was right. I told myself to live my life to the fullest and yet, I'm still not doing anything worthy for myself. Instead, I ran away like a scared little cat, afraid of dying. But now that I think about everything he just said, I made a "to do" list.
--Me and Nathan went home yesterday and will stay here until tomorrow afternoon. Right now, we're eating dinner. Silently.
"Mom, Dad." I captured their attention. "I was thinking, uhm..."
"What is it?" Dad said with a baritone.
"I was hoping if we could spend Christmas together in Korea? Then spend new year in London." I saw shock on their faces, except for Nathan.
"What gives you an idea to spend holidays abroad?" Van curiously asked.
"Nothing, it's just, you know, I've never been outside the country and I'm going to get married soon and I want to have more time with my family before that." Mom smiled.
"I think it's a good idea, sir. Memories are significant." He said calmly.
"I think so too. Besides, it's been a while since we all celebrated holidays abroad isn't it?" Vhel also smiled.
"What about the Christmas eve party?" Dad asked.
"Perhaps, we can move the date closer." Deyn suggested.
"You're suggesting to rush the engagement?" Van opposed to his wife.
"Yeah, well, it's just an engagement. And no matter what happen, they're going to get married soon anyway." Joaquin defended.
"Good point though." He replied.
"Well then, if you all agreed to it, perhaps we should change the date on the invitation card." He said then smiled at me as I smiled at him. My first wish is granted.

DAY 154My days became busy for my engagement party and advance Christmas celebration here. School didn't matter at all but Josh and I still communicates with each other. I spent these past few days planning and designing the garden and my night gown. And of course, for giving away invitation cards for the people whom I wanted to invite---Including Josh. When he got the card, he rushed to me and pleaded to talk to me.
--
"You don't have to plead; I was going to talk to you anyway." I said when we stepped outside for a talk. He gave me the card as if asking me to explain. His tears warning his eyes.
"You've read it right. It's my engagement party."
"I don't understand. Explain" He gritted his teeth, his jaw clenched.
"I am not who you think I am, Josh."
"I said explain, not to make excuses." I sighed for I know I'm not going to win over him.
"I found my real parents few months ago. It turns out that, they're far richer than I ever imagined." He gasped in shock and confusion.
"This is just a fixed marriage isn't it?" I smiled and gently nodded.
"But it will not change the fact that I love you and he knows it. Besides, he loves another woman too. So he doesn't have any bit of intention to split us apart." It took him a while to sink everything in. Until he gently nodded and kissed my forehead.
