I was there sitting next to her on the couch. I felt a small pain in my left temple but I thought nothing of it. I pulled her close to me and held her in my embrace. I loved her more then anything. She was my one and only and that is a stated fact.
I leaned in and kissed her on the cheek. I saw her skin turn a bright shade of red and I giggled. It was so cute when she blushed. She turned her head and gave me one of her why do you do that to me looks and nuzzled her head into the crook of my neck. I closed my eyes and held her close.
Again the pain came to my head. A high pitched ring in my ear made me cringe. I moved my arms away and held my hands to my head. I let out a small groan. This has got to be about the twentieth time this has happened in the past two days. They keep intensifying.
I cringed away from her as my skin started to burn, but I felt cold. Something was going wrong with me. I looked at my hands, my veins were bulging. I heard my girlfriend’s gasp as blood dropped from my ears and nose.
Just then an intense pain shot through my body fell limp. I tried to speak but nothing came to my lips but blood. I watched it dribble onto the white carpet. I felt bad for the stain that would surely stay after the crimson liquid dried.
I heard my significant other let out a scream as my vision blurred. The sound became muffled the same time that everything went black. I was still there on the ground. My sense of feeling was there, but I wasn’t. I couldn’t move anything. I couldn’t say anything. I was just... there.
