Moving Day

4 months after the election.

Alex pov

Today's the day! I'm moving into the palace with Henry. I've been waiting for this for the longest time. Since the election Henry and I have talked about moving in together, but it never was a super serious conversation. I have school in New York and he has work for shelters all over, but he decided that I need to have a room in the palace because of the amount of time I spend there. Well, less of my own room, but more of moving my own stuff into his room.

I grab my last suitcase from the stairs of the White House and look across my shoulder, "Bye June! Bye Nora!" My mom is busy being the president, but June and Nora took some time out of their busy lives to say goodbye to me. I mean this isn't a big deal, I stay with Henry as much as I can and I'm always leaving for England, but because this is me 'officially' moving in with him they decided they wanted to see me before they left.

"Bye!" Nora yells then runs right back inside, her job has been keeping her super busy. June stays until she sees the car pull up.

"Bye Alex, be good." She says with a wink and follows Nora inside.

I open the door to the limo and see Cash in the driver's seat. "Are you excited?" He asks with a smirk, he knows how much time I spend there already.

I roll my eyes and shove him. "Of course I'm fucking excited, I'm moving in with the love of my life." I say somewhat sarcastically. I lay my head down on the window and say, "Wake me up when we get to the airport."

I slowly drift off to sleep on the cold window. "Alex...ALEX...ALEX CLAREMONT-DIAZ GET YOUR ASS UP!" I sit up sharply and see Zahra standing over me. "I have been calling your name for a minute, hear better!"

I smile sheepishly at her and jump out of the car. We've arrived at the hanger. I grab the handle of one of my suitcases and pull it forwards. I look around and take in the last bit of the good old US of A before getting to England, home of the Queen. I take one last breath of air and walk up the stairs into the plane.

Anything after this moment is a little blurry because soon after I fell asleep for the whole seven hour flight. I feel a gentle shaking and I know immediately that Cash woke me up and not Zahra. "Hey Alex." I nod in response. "We're here!" I smile sleepily, I'm moving into the palace with Henry. I see a text from HRH Prince Dickhead pop up, it says Hey babe, Cash said your plane landed. I'm coming to pick you up from the airport now :) with Shaan of course ;)

I sigh happily, the moment has come. I didn't realize how excited I was for this. I thought it would feel like any other time I've came overseas to visit Henry, it actually does feel different. I see a limo in the distance that continues to drive closer and I know it's Henry because I can see Shaan through the window in the front. When they stop beside us I look into the front window and wink at Shaan.

Henry opens the door of the limo and smiles at me. My heart melts. I'm in love with this man and I want everyone to know. I walk towards him and pull him in for a kiss, our lips meet and I'm falling in love all over again. When we finally pull apart I can see Zahra and Shaan talking in low voices as well as Cash smirking.

I glare at him and grab Henry's hand, "I missed you babe." I look up into his big blue eyes. "I love you."

He smiles down at me and responds by saying, "I love you too, now let's get moving. I want you to feel at home."

I roll my eyes, when have I ever not felt at home there. It's like my second home, well now it is my second home. I smile at that, Henry and I will share a home now. Well, us and the rest of Henry's family, but it feels big.

Part two will hopefully come soon, but I wanted to have something up for you guys who have been patiently waiting!
