Where are We?

The older of the two men pushes a button on a pad by my glass encasement. A door opens and I walk out, bowing to Master Yoda. "Master Yoda, it is an honor to meet such a one as yourself." Yoda chuckles, bowing his head towards me. I hear six more sounds and see Brian, Hope, Cody, Josephine, Jack, and Trinity coming out of their encasements. Each one comes over and greets Yoda the same way.

"An honor to meet you, it is. Assign you masters, we will. Though rest, you must. Exhausted, you must be." The younger of the two men comes up to us. "Names, you must have? Questions?" We all look at each other. Then I speak up.

"I'm Areana Jameson."

"I'm Hope Rainier."

"I'm Josephine Wagner"

"I'm Trinity Singer."

"I'm Brian Johnson."

"I'm Cody Bachelor."

"I'm Jack Frellson." Yoda nods, looking at the two men beside him.

"These are the ones, Master." Yoda nods again.

"Excuse me if I sound rude, but where are we? I've never seen this place. And what are your names, sirs?"

"You're at the Jedi temple on Coruscant. I'm Qui-Gon Jinn and this is Obi Wan Kenobi." I nod. "We must give you your names now. The names you gave us are your earth names. You have Jedi names here. Areana Jameson, you are Kiria Shano. Hope Rainier, you are Hren Malak. Josephine Wagner, you are Jalena Welon. Trinity Singer, you are Trene Siren. Brian Johnson, you are Brenak Joul. Jack Frellson, you are Jolens Skyfighter. And Cody Bachelor, you are Ciren Sen." I look at my friends to see confusion on their face. I shake my head and resign myself to the fact that this is all happening. "In the meantime, I'll show you to your rooms."

"Thank you so much." I respond and motion to the rest to follow Qui-Gon Jinn out the door. The halls are rich in color and full of men and women in brown robes walking the halls. I take it all in, admiring what is now going to be home. I notice one thing that seems off and keep it in my mind for later. After what seems like an hour of walking, we arrive at what appears to be a dormitory. The rooms all have numbers and it appears it is boys across from girls. We walk through to receive strange stares from other inmates. "Are we staying here?"

"Not in these rooms you aren't. You're special, different. So we're putting you in other rooms." I nod and continue walking down the hall. Finally, we arrive at two rooms direct across from each other. "Here you are. Kiria, Hren, Jalena, and Trene you will be in the room to the right. Brenak, Jolens, and Ciren, you will be in the room to your left. You will find clothes in there that are more suitable than what you have on. After that, sleep. You have a big day tomorrow."

"Thank you, Master. We greatly appreciate this." Ciren speaks up for the first time. Master Jinn smiles and walks off down the hall. "Well, let's do this." I nod.

"See you guys in the morning." The girls and I walk into our room and shut the door. "Ok, this is totally strange guys. We arrive on some random planet and now we're told we have different names? I mean, there is no way I'm calling you Hren, Jalena, and Trene."

"I'm with you, but I guess we have no choice." Hren walks over to her bed to find the clothes Master Jinn was speaking of. "So, are we going to keep the clothes we have on?"

"Well of course." Trene speaks up. "But I guess we ought to wear these ones, so we don't stick out like sore thumbs." We laugh. "I'll go first." Trene walks into what appears to be the bathroom and a few moments later comes back out. She has a brown robe with cream colored shirt and cross over. She has light brown pants and brown boots. Everything brings out her honey-colored eyes. "So what do you think?"

"Looks good girl! I'll go next!" Jalena grabs her clothes and follows suit after Trene. She comes out with a cream shirt, dark brown pants, and vest-type thing to cover it. She also has a dark brown hood. I nod in approval. Hren goes next and walks out with a gray robe, gray pants, and black boots, but with a cream shirt and gray cross over. "Last one to go Areana. Oops, I mean, Kiria." I smile and walk into the bathroom.

Woah! This is the coolest thing ever! A marble topped sink with two elegant knobs for the water, a tile shower, and the nicest towel-rack I had ever seen. Well, enough staring. Let's get these on. I begin with the pants, which are black. I put on a pure white shirt which has a black crossover. I pull the black together with a light brown belt. I then put on the robe, which is white with black fringes. I then put on the boots which are also black. I look in the mirror to see that my eyes are no longer blue. Instead, they are a light gray. I walk out to see the shocked faces of my friends sitting on the floor. "What's wrong with you guys?"

"Nothing at all." Hren speaks up. "I'm tired, so I'm heading off to bed." We all agree on this point and head to our bunks. It isn't long before I hear the slow breathing of the three girls. But I can't fall asleep. Something about my clothes doesn't seem right. When I first had walked in here, all the robes were brown, cream-colored shirts and crossovers, and we all had brown boots. And my eye color had changed. I try to force myself to sleep but can't. I sigh and swing my legs out of bed. I tiptoe towards the door, open it silently, and slip out into the hall. It isn't much a walk to the common area, so I head there. When I walk in, I see Ciren sitting there.

"Hey." Ciren gets up.

"Hey Kiria. Can't sleep?" I nod and then realize something about him has changed. His eyes are the same shade of gray as mine and his outfit is the same as mine. "You noticed it too."
