"Madame Jocasta. I am trying to find information on this Sith lord, Sidious. But the computer base isn't showing anything."

"Well, these things are fickle, you know. Let's see. Lord Sidious." She types into the computer. "Ah, here. You have to type in Lord Sidious, not Sith. If you type Sith, it won't show anything. As I said, these things are fickle." I laugh.

"You've been with me too much! You are speaking as we do on Earth."

"And you speak like we do here." I smile. "I'll leave you to your study."

"Thank you." Focusing on the screen in front of me, I get a basic biography of the Dark Lord, Darth Sidious. Not much is known, except he killed his master in order to train his own apprentice and create life. I frown, wondering who his master was.

ME.

The word from my mind gave me enough confirmation. Plageius. Suddenly feeling very exhausted, I shut the base down and head towards my chambers, happening to meet with Yoda on the way. I tell him what I know so far.

"Hmmm, interesting, that is. If true, danger we are all in."

"I agree Master. If Sheev Palpatine is indeed a Sith, it makes sense he'd want to destroy the Jedi. The fight I had with that Sith in the hangar wasn't against him. I think it was against his apprentice." Yoda nods.

"In danger, you are."

"Me?"

"Yes. After your powers, this is."

"Because I am a strong Jedi." I bite my lip.

"Protect you, we must. Two guards, you must have. When going somewhere, take them."

"Do you think that is necessary?"

"Yes. Speak with the council, I will."

"Master, you forget that I am on the council."

"In this decision, you are not."

"Of course, Master. I will retire. May the Force be with you."

"And with you." Bowing to Master Yoda, I retreat into my own quarters. I find no one there, and so I fall easily into a not-so-easy sleep.

Dream Sequence

"He is the chosen one. Once the midichlorian count is received by the council, they will allow him to train under me." Qui-Gon speaks to Obi-Wan, who appears unconvinced.

"Mesa sure that Ani will besa Jedi."

"Yes Jar-Jar." Qui-Gon rolls his eyes.

"Now that our ship is repaired, we can leave for Coruscant, right?" A beautifully-dressed young woman stands in the corner, handmaidens off to the side.

"Yes, we can. Come on, let's go." Suddenly, the same Sith Lord who had attacked me in the hangar springs out of nowhere. "To the ship now!" Qui-Gon calls out, and Obi Wan runs with everything he has.

End Dream

I sit bolt up, drops of sweat falling down my face. I look around, and detect nothing out of the ordinary. Deciding it is pointless to do anything further, I decide to try the com link I had set up with Obi-Wan.
