Screen a little fuzzy
So I tried to wipe it clean
But down the rabbit hole I fell
Landing in this unique dream
Walking through the town, but
Everyone's eyes were on me
I tried to run
From their fears
But
The more began to stare
I tried to run backwards
But
They were everywhere
Trapped among them
Across the street
The store window display
Was lined with screens
Screen a little fuzzy
It was my chance to be free
Bulldozing through
I left them to stare
At themselves alone
As I forced my eyes open
I sat in my living room
Hand still on the screen
Trying to wipe it clean

Hello everyone~
This poem is a longer piece and honestly, I wasn't too sure if it's good enough to post. Hopefully, you all enjoy reading it and have your meaning on what you think this poem is about.
For me, I wrote this based around how society builds fears in people. It encourages people to not follow their dreams based on what others think. But remember, their fears are not your fears, and as long as you know you are a good person, it doesn't matter what they think or their fears on if you can possibly reach your dreams. And there will always be people that want the best for you, and there will always be others that doubt. Understand others, learn from others, have patience with others, but don't let their fears become your own.
It's really amazing when I see you all relating to and commenting on my poems. It honestly means so much and it makes me so happy to see, and hopefully you're happy reading my poems as well....
...Thank you kind people ^_^
