TOXIC (Hisoka x Illumi)

Chpt 8 ~ A Short Kidnap

Hisokas pov

I was shaken awake by illumi. Already he was fully dressed with his hair brushed out and his needles polished and secured.

"Hisoka I have to meet with killua in under and hour at towns square, I will be back shortly."

I sit up and run my eyes as illumi sits waiting for a response. "How come I can't come?"

Illumi glared at me. "Because finding the person who hired me is my business, not yours, just sit there and do your nails or something I will be back soon."

Without another word he quickly leaves slamming the door behind him. "Well looks like good ol illumi is back"

Of course I immediately got up and got dressed and ready, I wanted to see what illumi was up to, I had nothing else to do today so why not?

I left hotel and could still feel faint traces of Illumis aura. I took off towards town square and noticed the sky beginning to turn dark and gloomy, the smell of rain wafting through the air, a strong storm was approaching her in about thirty minutes so I better hurry.

Soon I did make it into town square, there wasn't many people out since it was about to storm and it was already beginning to rain lightly so I soon spotted killua s white fluffy hair in the small crowd of people and standing about five foot away was illumi, his dark hair blowing in the wind.

The tension between the two was almost astronomical,  killua kept a far distance away from illumi as they shared information, Illumis aura shrouding killua in a form to intimidate him, and by the looks of it it was working.

I hid away in an alley concealing my presence but still able to see a clear view of them both. Killua nodded grinding his teeth as he walked away his hands shoved into his pockets. Illumi watched as killua walked away, a slight gloom of sadness shrouding his eyes.

The rain then began to heavily poor, everyone in the center square had left and were either in buildings or leaving  it here cars. The only two people were me and illumi.

Illumi made eye contact with me a scowled.

"I told you to -agh!"

At the same time both me and illumi fell to our knees as the most extricating ringing sharp pain filled our ears.

I looked up at illumi to see he to had fallen to his knees and was holding his ears, his needles held in between his fingers ready to attack whoever was doing this.

I closed my eyes trying to focus on getting back to my feet but suddenly the ringing stopped. I immediately stood up ready to attack whoever  had cussed the attack but it was only me who was standing in the rain, and literally only me.

Illumi had disappeared, the only thing left from his was three of his needles scattered across the ground.

"I-Illini, ILLUMI!"

I screamed out his name but there was no answer, the sound of crackling lightening and thunder shrouded the air, the wind blowing hard against my face, the rain hitting me like drops of glass shattering from a window.

Then a whiff of his bloodlust hit me, it was strong a swift, he was probably trying to get my attention. I waist no time at all and take off as fast as I can towards the direction of Illumis bloodlust, it was taking me into the swamp lands, full of many criminals and crooks.

Illumis bloodlust vanished with a sudden stop and I froze not knowing which direction to go, there were no footprints of breaks in leaves or twigs, there wasn't a single clue.
