"I'm your mother, Jumin."
"My mom?" Jumin was frozen in place. He didn't know how he could respond to her and felt a headache forming. "Miss, I already have a mom and she's working inside. So if you're done with making things up, you can leave."
"But is the truth!" she shouted, not backing down. She opened her purse and took some documents from it. "And I have all the legal documents to prove it!"
Back in the kitchen, Parker was wrapping all of the wrappers into each other while he grew more impatient by the second. "How long are they gonna take?" he wondered and turned to the hallway concerned when he heard Jumin screaming. Parker sighed, standing up from his seat and going to the front door. "What did she do this time?"
To his surprise, Miracle wasn't laughing at him like how she usually does. In her place, he saw a woman resembling Jumin sobbing uncontrollably. "Um, June? Can you come for a sec?!" Parker shouted as Kyung whipped his head around to him. "It's urgent!"
Kyung clicked his tongue. "She doesn't have to come, 'cause this conversation is over. Goodbye, Eunha and don't show your face to us ever again."
"Please listen to me Jumin!" she begged. "It's about your dad!"
"What about him?" Kyung asked as he had his hand on the door, ready to slam it shut.
"He died," she said while Kyung stared at her with a blank expression. "He died over a week ago and came for you now that he's finally gone." She sniffed as her tears wouldn't stop pouring from her eyes. "I should've never left you alone with him for so many years."
Kyung didn't answer her and eyed Parker listening to them awkwardly. He exhaled loudly and tilted his head. "He can rot in hell for all I care," he spoke and shut the door in her face. When he heard Eunha pressing the doorbell on repeat, Kyung let out a frustrated groan while running his fingers through his hair.
"What's wrong, Parker?" June asked as she hurried to them. She frowned by hearing the doorbell going off and Kyung who was pacing around. "What happened, Kyung?"
"Have you shared our address with anyone these days?" Kyung demanded, coming to a halt.
June shook her head. "The only people who know it are my family and our friends. Why? Who's here?"
"That stupid bitch Eunha found me." Kyung took some deep breaths to calm himself. "I am so close to punching her in her fucking face. Telling me some shit about that son of a bitch."
"Do I have to call the police?" June asked, opening her phone.
"No. They'd think we're shitting them. She has all the documents she needs to prove that we're blood-related." Kyung bit his nail. "I can't. I can't deal with this shit. I need Eunwoo to handle this." Kyung's breathing became unstable. "This is bad. We have to calm Jeong and Taeyung," he whispered, holding his head while stressing about the outcome.
June looked at Parker who watched Kyung with an uneasy expression. "They haven't told you yet, have they?"
"No," he muttered. "Jumin told me once that he only knows a few things about it but not the full story. And I didn't want to force Eunwoo or Kyung to talk about it." Parker glanced at Eunwoo opening the door again. "But I have a feeling I'll know soon enough."
"Good afternoon Eunha," Eunwoo greeted, forcing a polite smile. "Come in, it seems we have many things to discuss."
"What happened?" she asked, wiping the tear stains away. "Did you have a change of heart? You were cursing me and my whole family out not that long ago."
"Oh, uh, sorry about that. I got... heated when I saw you," Eunwoo lied, chuckling uncomfortably. She motioned for June to come closer. "This is June. She has been taking care of us- um, me these past ten years."
"I'm Eunha Park. It's a pleasure to meet you, June...?" she smiled, leaving the last part blank for her surname.
"Nang. June Nang. My father's Korean," she replied. "Do you want anything to drink?"
"Water's just fine," Eunha said, taking her shoes off.
"I'll grab a glass," Eunwoo offered and walked to the kitchen. While she was walking, she grabbed Parker by his shirt and forced him to come with.
Parker followed her without any complaints and stood at the table, glancing between her and the chocolate. "How can I break this tension? Can I say something without giving her more stress? Should I just stay quiet for the next hour?" he pondered.
"I'll explain it to you later, alright? But before I do that, I have to deal with her," she said, referring to Eunha.
"Sure," Parker replied. "Do you want me to go to your room? I can entertain myself for long enough."
"That'd be nice. You can always ask me if you need anything, okay?"
"Yes, noona," Parker grinned. Eunwoo was shocked at first when Parker said that but began giggling as she felt a sense of tranquility. "Impressed? I'm going all out with my skills for you."
"Oh, Parker," she smiled, rolling her eyes. "Let's talk about it later."
"Of course," he grinned and went upstairs to their room.
As Parker's footsteps became quieter, the sound of Eunha and June talking got louder, almost unbearable for Eunwoo. "I should really go," she thought but kept staring at the glass of water which began sweating. While tapping her finger next to it, she watched a droplet slowly making its way to the bottom. She sighed and grabbed the glass, walking to the living room. The closer she got, the more anxious she got by her being here.
June turned to Eunwoo with a comforting smile. "Hey, Jumin."
"Hi, June." She looked at Eunha. "Here's your water."
"Thank you." She took the glass from her and put it on the coffee table as Eunwoo sat on the other couch.
"So what brings you here?"
"I was just talking to June about it. I want to take you back to Korea for your dad's funeral," she explained.
"And why should I?" She asked, cocking her head and giving her a dead stare. "I don't have any sorrow for that man after all the things he let me go through. But of course, you wouldn't know, since you left me with him."
"I'm sorry. I was only thinking about myself back then," she apologized and felt her eyes water again. "I was so scared to go back home that I decided to flee the country one day. I know it was selfish, but please understand where I came from. I was still young and didn't know that it could've had such a huge impact on your life. I beg you, please forgive me."
Eunwoo averted her eyes to her hands, thinking back at what she said. She took a deep breath and looked her straight in the eye. "When are you going back to Korea?"
"Next week."
"For today, I'll be selfish and say that I don't forgive you. But give me some time to think about it and my answer may change," she replied. "You'll get an answer in a few days."

A/N I have a one week vacation and you know what that means! I have to LEARN! For the test week... AND there'll be three updates! One on Jumin's birthday (Wednesday), one Friday(?) and you already know the last one. Learning is gonna be such a pain. But that's enough about my struggles. We'll get to know more of Jumin's back story next chapter and I feel pain for him. Btw, no birthday chapter because there already is one (or two) at the beginning of the story. Well, that's enough about everything. I'm gonna grind on Genshin and don't kill mice
