"My boy has finally become an adult," Benjamin cried while crushing Parker in a hug.
Parker glanced at Jumin who was chuckling at them and patted Benjamin's back awkwardly. "I know dad, but it's just a year extra. Nothing will change."
Benjamin let Parker go and raised his eyebrow. "But you even said that you're leaving me in September to go to uni with Jumin," he said as Parker whipped his head to Jumin.
"Oh? I haven't heard anything about that," Jumin spoke, crossing his arms. "Were you waiting to tell me about your plan after graduation?" Jumin knew Parker wanted to say yes when he tried to avoid eye contact. "I knew it."
"It was a full proof plan! Until my dad ruined it," he replied, glaring at Benjamin.
"I didn't know I was supposed to keep it a secret," he shrugged. "Anyway, when are your crazy friends coming over?"
"Around six," he answered as he sat next to Jumin at the table, eating some of Jumin's fries.
"Not commenting on the "crazy" part?" he smirked.
"I can't deny it at this point. They're all crazy," Parker replied and hissed after Jumin slapped his hand.
Benjamin glanced at his phone. "I'm going out to pick up Tessa and your birthday cake. I won't be home before the others come, so don't do anything stupid. You may be 18, but I swear on your Dutch blood that I'll hit you on your head if you do some dumb shit," he warned.
Parker covered the back of his head. "I know, I know. And I've told you already. I never do anything stupid," he sighed, sneakily stealing Jumin's fries.
Jumin swatted his hand away again. "So that was a lie," he scoffed.
"Keep an eye on him, will you?" Benjamin grinned at Jumin.
"Will do," he smiled and looked at his plate, to see it almost empty. He slowly turned to Parker with his mouth full of fries.
Parker paused with chewing and turned to him. "Hi," he grinned.
"And it's even going bad when I'm here," Benjamin laughed and grabbed his keys. "I'll be back soon."
"Bye, Ben," Jumin waved him off.
"Bye, dad!" Parker shouted after clearing his mouth. When he heard the front door close, Parker rested his head on Jumin's shoulder. "Jumin," he called, nuzzling against his neck.
"You want more?" he asked, pressing a fry against his mouth.
Parker shook his head. "I've had enough," he replied. "But about what my dad said, do you want to join me to go to university in the big city? You don't even have to go, I just want to live together with you."
Jumin hummed. "Give me one good reason why."
Parker shot his head back as he looked shocked at Jumin. "A reason why? Why wouldn't you? We can live together, cook together, hang out all the time, sleep together-" His eyes widened. "Wait, I didn't mean it like that! You know what I meant. But, I want to be around you all the time."
"...I'll talk to June about it," he said as he tamed Parker's curls.
"Then it's a guaranteed yes!" he cheered. Parker flinched when he heard the doorbell and glared at it.
"You get scared too easily," Jumin chuckled as Parker pouted. He sighed and kissed his cheek. "Go open it. You know how annoying Miracle will be if she's standing out there too long."
"Y-Yeah," he muttered, lightly touching his cheek. He stood up and went to the door while Jumin finished his plate before Miracle came in.
Parker opened the door. "Hey, guys-"
