"Taeyung?" Parker asked.
Taeyung whipped his head shocked towards Parker. He wiped his tears away swiftly and fixed his hair. "I apologize for presenting such an unpleasant sight of myself," he said after he cleared his throat. "But do you mind if I ask you how you know my name?"
"Eunwoo told me about you," Parker replied. "Kind of."
"That means that you're Parker, correct?" Taeyung inquired. "Since you said that Eunwoo told you about me."
"That's true," he answered.
Taeyung studied his appearance and sat on a chair as he passed his fingers through his hair. "Very well. I've heard some information about you from the others and for some strange reason, all of it was only positive."
"And is that a bad thing?" Parker asked, awkwardly standing around.
"It isn't, but that doesn't mean that I trust you yet," he replied as he crossed his legs while he leaned his head on his hand. Taeyung's glared suspiciously at Parker, still feeling wary of Parker and what happened with Alice. He held his guard up because he didn't know what Parker would say to him to trigger him. "Sit," he ordered as he pointed at the bed.
Parker stared at him flabbergasted and didn't move from where he was standing. "Did he just order me.. to sit? Like a dog?" He thought.
Taeyung's brows snapped together and he began glaring daggers at Parker. Did I stutter?" Parker shook his head quickly and he rushed to sit down. "Good. Now explain to me, who the fuck was that bitch who called me... that?" He demanded.
"She's a friend of mine and she doesn't know how DID works. A friend of mine asked her if she wanted to watch a movie which has a main character who also had DID and one of the alters is like..." Parker explained, not certain if he should say the word. "You know. "That"."
"I understand all of that, but I'm still not sure how she came up with that conclusion."
"It's because she knew something was up with you guys." Taeyung raised his eyebrow. "N-Not like that!" Parker shouted panicked.
"Enough with your shouting. Finish your damn story already," Taeyung shouted back.
"I'm sorry!" Taeyung rubbed temples. "She noticed the slip up that Kyung had and the was Min was acting."
Taeyung sighed, feeling frustrated. "I told them that this would be a stupid idea," he muttered and stared at Parker. "What is so great about this guy? He's only some big guy who acts like a dog, nothing else. I don't see the charm that attracted Jumin to him."
Parker didn't know what else he could say to him while Taeyung's eyes were boring into his head. He looked down at his hand which he was resting on his lap. "What is he thinking so hard about? He must think that I'm a weird guy." He glanced back at Taeyung and averted his eyes again when he saw him still staring. "Um, do you need anything more?"
"Coffee."
Parker looked back at him. "I'm sorry?"
"Are you deaf?" He rolled his eyes. "I said that I want some coffee. It calms my nerves down."
"Okay, let's go then." Parker stood up and grabbed his phone as Taeyung watched him with an unbelievable expression on his face. Parker looked at a good cafe and found a place near a police station. "Who are you waiting for?"
Taeyung blinked at him. "I beg your pardon? Aren't you buying me a cup yourself?"
"I don't think it's a good idea to leave you alone right now," Parker replied. "And from what Eunwoo told me, I'm a little scared of what could happen. I need to try my best to calm him down." Parker smiled. "C'mon, don't be like that."
"I'm not going to some... commoner cafe. Just buy a black coffee at Starbucks and that'll work," Taeyung said, tapping his fingers on the armrest.
"How am I supposed to win him over?" Parker wondered. "I'll buy it for you if you come along."
Taeyung scoffed. "I don't need your donation. I have enough on my own."
"Of course," Parker whispered as he became gloomy.
Taeyung eyed Parker and sighed as he stood up. "That coffee better be good."
Fifteen minutes later
"Is this the place?" Taeyung asked as he eyed the small building.
'This is it!" Parker stopped at the small board. "Today's special is hot chocolate," he read out loud. "Taeyung wouldn't like that though." Parker turned to him. "What do you think, Taeyung?" He asked.
"Hot choccy?" Jeong asked with an eager expression. "Can we really, Parker?"
"Sure we can, but only if you behave right now, okay?" Parker asked and Jeong nodded enthusiastically. "Then follow me."
They went into the cafe and Parker ordered two hot chocolates with whipped cream. The cashier said that they could take a seat and Parker choose a table a little away from the big window. Parker looked at the time on his phone and saw that Julia messaged him.
Julia: Did they cool down?
Parker: Yeah
Parker: I went out with him, but now I'm talking to another alter
Julia: Where are you
Julia: Can I join?
Julia: Alice also said that she wants to apologize
Parker: I don't think that it'd be a good idea for you guys to join rn
Parker: I'll tell you when you can come to our room again
Julia: Kay
"Parker?" Jeong called. "Who are you talking to? Is it miss June?"
"I haven't spoken to her yet today. I'll call her later, but first let's enjoy our chocolate milk," he smiled when he noticed a male waiter around their age coming up to them.
"And here are your cups," the waiter smiled as he put them on the table.
"Thank you," Parker grinned. "It must be a weird sight to see two guys drinking hot chocolate together."
"Not really. The hot chocolate that I make is the best, so I'm not surprised that even guys want to try it," he smirked, boosting his ego. "Enjoy!"
While he walked away, Jeong looked at Parker and leaned to him. "He's weird," he whispered.
"That's not a nice thing to say, Jeong," Parker scolded and saw Jeong's face sadden. "But he kinda is," he whispered back.
Jeong tried to hold back his giggle. He felt a little down when he thought back at what happened. "Parker?" He called again. "What happened with Taeyung?"
"Why? Did he say something to you?"
Jeong shook his head. "He didn't. He only talked to Eunwoo, Kyung, and Kiran about it. But he's acting more mean than normal. Did someone say something mean to him?" He asked.
"Should I tell him?" Parker looked at Jeong's innocent face. "It's nothing important. He'll to you if it is, okay?"
"Okay," he smiled and grabbed his mug. He took a sip and stuck his tongue out.
"Burned my goddamn tongue because of this shit," Kyung groaned. "Just my fucking luck." He looked at Parker and grinned. "What's up?"
A/N DONE!!!! I'm feeling a little dead because I've been working a lot this last week. And I'm in this kind of dilemma right now. About W*bnovel. They offered me two contracts to make money off AT and with one of them, I have to take my book from Wattpad and Tapas. And I kinda don't want that tbh... I think that I'll go for the second one because even how trash the book is, it's my baby and I want to keep it on here. Maybe I'll make AG exclusive on the site in the future but we'll see. The next chapter will be up or tomorrow or Sunday. I'll continue this stream and don't kill mice
