The Boy with the Bat [1] Stiles Stilinski

Chapter Seven:

Screw this She thought, and she rushed out of his room and prepared to follow him. Hope watched as he ran into the woods opposite their house with the baseball bat in his hand. She quietly followed behind him to find out what he'd been hiding. What everyone had been hiding.

She heard a sudden growl come from the woods and wondered what the hell it could be, she felt scared but nervous at the same time because she didn't want to accuse Stiles of something that may not be true but boy was she wrong.

The second she walked closer towards the nature trail in the woods she saw something she couldn't explain fighting with another creature. Hope watched as Stiles hit the guy over the head with his baseball bat, but he threw him to the side.

She rushed over towards him to see if he was okay and that's when she noticed the blood coming from the back of his head "You're bleeding!" she said where he looked at her with shock in his eyes "What the hell are you doing here?" he asked and she just looked at him with a blank expression.

She turned her head the second she heard a growl to see Scott transforming into what looked like a werewolf. Hope watched as Liam and Erica came rushing out from behind a tree with fang, claws and glowing eyes. 'Oh my god my mother was right the entire time. My friends had been lying to me. Stiles had been lying to me even when I asked him about it' She muttered to herself.

She felt Stiles lace his hands with hers, but she pulled away and shook her head. She slowly moved away from Stiles and knocked her back onto the tree behind her. He could see the fear in Hope's eyes as she let the tears roll down her cheeks.

Hope turned her back to who she thought were her friend and prepared to walk away until she felt herself get pulled backwards. A guy she'd never seen before grabbed a hold of her and bit into her neck. She felt the life being drained out of her as she screamed at the top of her lungs.

Erica kicked him away from her best friend and helped her up from the ground "Get away from me" Hope screamed pushing her away. She couldn't believe what she saw. She held onto her neck as the blood poured out feeling her head suddenly go dizzy "Get her out of here" Scott shouted at Stiles but Hope shook my head.

She picked up the baseball bat from the floor and aimed it at Stiles "Stay the hell away from me!" She shouted. Hope's hands were shaking to a point she could no longer control it. Liam walked closer towards her and tried to give her comfort but she backed away "Hope let us explain" he said "No......I've seen enough" she shouted at him before hitting him with the bat in her hands causing him to fall to the floor.

The guy that bit her had managed to get away. Scott and Erica continued into the woods to chase after him whilst Liam stayed with Stiles to sort Hope out "Hope......please. I-I can-" Stiles started but she cut him off and said "You lying bastard" before she ran off in the woods.

Hope ran and ran until she suddenly felt the dizziness take over causing her to collapse onto the floor and knock her head on a rock. She felt the life drain out of her as she lied there hopelessly. Nobody was around to help her, and nobody knew where she was. She thought about the last moment she'd had with Stiles before she blacked out.

The next she remembered was being put into an ambulance with her brother at her side. Hope fluttered open her eyes and screamed herself awake. She felt someone grab a hold of her hand and lace theirs with her. She turned her head to see Brandon sitting in the chair next to the bed.

"Where am I?" Hope asked, "What happened?" she added before she felt the side of her neck and that's when everything came back to her. She remembered everything that happened last night "We found you in the woods. I think you'd been attacked" Brandon said, giving her a look of concern. She felt a sharp pain fly through her side. Hope moved her top to the side to see a stab wound "We think when you fell something cut you" Brandon said.
