Brandon opened the passenger side of the car and helped Hope out. She used her crutches to support her walking. As she walked towards the house she noticed Stiles at his jeep with Scott. His eyes immediately locked onto hers, but she looked away a second later. Hope refused to make eye contact with either of them. She couldn't bear the sight of the people she thought were her friends.
Brandon unlocked the front door and sat her down on the settee. Her mother had paid Jade a visit 'I guess she'd be plotting against my 'so-called' friends' she thought to herself. Her father was working late so that left Brandon in charge. She hoped he wouldn't get called in. She didn't want to be left on her own.
Hope watched as Brandon awkwardly gave Stiles a small smile before shutting the front door. Hope's gut was telling her that Brandon was on Stiles' side. She couldn't blame him if he was, but she needed him to understand the fact they lied to her.
Stiles parked the jeep outside the veterinarians and headed inside with Scott to speak to Deaton about vampires. They thought werewolves were enough now they had to deal with vampires too. Scott sighed as Stiles opened the barrier for Scott to be able to enter due to the mountain ash.
Deaton placed a book down on the table and opened it to page 137 with Vampires as the headline "Do you think it could be a vampire?" Stiles asked Deaton "From what you've described it's more than likely" he answers "Vampires are part demon. The mountain ash won't work for them" Deaton adds.
"You mean a vampire be able to walk over the mountain ash like Theo could?" Scott asked, "Yes except Theo wasn't a demon" Deaton told them "He sure acted like a demon" Stiles chuckled "How do we stop a vampire?" Stiles added "From what I can see. The only way to stop a vampire is a stake through the heart" Deaton informs.
"Something else you might need to know....Vampires have to be invited in" Deaton says "What does that mean?" Scott asked "A vampire has to be invited into your home. If he doesn't own the house he can't get in unless the owner of the house invites him in" Deaton replies.
"So that means Hope is safe because he can't get into her house?" Stiles comments "But he attacked her right?" Deaton asked "Outside her house. He didn't go inside" Stiles answers "she'll be safe but during school she won't be. If he's after her you'll have to stay by her side" Deaton tells them "She's not really talking to us. She found out we'd been lying to her, but she covered up what actually happened so....that's got to mean something right?" Stiles says with hope in his eyes.
He wanted the girl he'd fallen in love with to trust him. He wanted to be close to her. He wanted to tell her the truth. The whole truth. He made a promise to himself. As soon as he gets her back he's going to tell her everything. He's going to confess his feelings and finally tell her it's been her this entire time.
Hope heard a knock on her bedroom door "Come in" she shouted where the door opened. She turned her head to the person to see Lydia standing before her "What do you want?" Hope blurted out "Look I know I barely speak to you but I think it's about time I do" Lydia answers "I know you don't trust us and you may never trust us again" she added "but him" Lydia says pointing to Stiles from across the window.
Hope's eyes met Stiles' hazel ones "You can trust" Lydia tells her "Why would I trust someone who's lied to me this entire time?" Hope muttered loud enough for Lydia to hear. Her eyes still focused on Stiles' bedroom window across from hers.
"because you're in love with him" Lydia comments. Hope's eyes grew wider from Lydia's words. How the hell did she find out she thought to herself. She couldn't understand how she knew. Hope hadn't told anyone how she felt about Stiles. Hell, she refused to show her emotions around him.
