Stiles woke up to an empty room. He felt different, a good different but something didn't make sense. He felt comfort all through the night but woke up alone "You feeling up to go to school kiddo?" his father asked as he entered the room. Stiles just nodded in return "What's going on with you and Hope?" he added with a questioning look.

"I don't know. She doesn't remember me, someone erased me from her memories" Stiles told his father, a tear threatening to spill "I think she still cares....She stayed the entire night, she refused to leave your side" Sheriff Stilinski told his son.

"Wait....she stayed here with me?" Stiles asked, a small smile forming on his lips. Maybe there was a part of Hope that did remember Stiles "She left just before you woke to change her clothes. She promised she'd be back" his father commented. The smile disappearing from Stiles lips. The last time Hope promised to return she never did. All Stiles could do was Hope she'd return.

Hope stared at the photos attached to her vanity mirror. Pictures of her and Stiles. She saw the connection from the photos. The friendship that turned to love, a love that never happened. Brandon knocked on the bedroom door throwing Hope from her thoughts. She turned to face him and gave him a small smile.

He took a seat next to her on the end of her bed, placing his hand on top of hers. He said "My friend should be here by the end of the week. I promise we'll fix this" Hope let out a small chuckle as a tear fell from her eyes "Even though yesterday seems like the first day I met him, I feel like I already know him"

"I think apart of you knows him...I think it's buried within in" Brandon told her, she smiled "and you can tell he's in love with you" Brandon added as he pointed to her window.

She turned her head to her window to see Stiles looking directly at her. Seeing that he was okay made her feel the happiest. She'd been so worried he wouldn't wake up "I have to go see him before I go to school" she told Brandon. She grabbed her bag from the side along with Stiles' jacket and rushed out her front door.

The second Stiles noticed her run out of her room, he hurried to the front door "You know that jacket you seem to be attached to belonged to me" Stiles blurted out. He felt happy that she continued to wear it "Oh.....Do you want it back?" she asked him, but he shook his head and said "No I want you to keep it"

"I-I'm sorry I-I um don't remember us" Hope stuttered "I do, and it kills me inside the fact you don't remember me, but we'll get you're memories back" Stiles reassured her.

She heard Brandon's car engine start but told him to give her a minute "I guess I'll see you later. I mean I can't be around you in school. I have to pretend I've never met you" she told him with sad eyes, but he understood. He placed a soft kiss to her cheek before heading to his jeep.

Hope took a deep breath the second Brandon pulled up outside the school. She looked to the side and noticed Liam waiting for her by the main doors. He didn't want her to go in alone, he didn't want to abandon his best friend.

She parted ways with Liam at Mrs. Blake's classroom. She prepared to face reality, to act as if she'd never met Stiles. To look for any odd behaviour from Kaleb or Mila.

She took her seat next to Kaleb and prepared to get on with life. She felt Stiles' gaze on her the second she sat two seats away from him, she turned her head towards him and gave him a small smile but managed to hide it from Kaleb.

Mila on the other hand caught sight of the way Hope looked at Stiles and the way Stiles looked at her. Hope didn't know who to trust no longer so she gave Mila a 'What you looking at?' look because she couldn't understand how Mila could be involved.

"Okay....It's time to give in your assignments. Hope you may go first. What matters most to you?" Mrs. Blake ordered. Hope opened her notebook to the front page. The heading 'What matters most' she looked at the page with confusion and sighed. She couldn't remember what she wrote about.
