Yams,tsukki and you were like three best friends always together and at times before you had liked tsukki but Yamaguchi made you feel butterflies all the time he was always on your mind, you loved everything about him. valentines day... the day millions of people would confess their feeling and I was one of them. My feeling for Yamaguchi have lasted around a year and a half but no matter how obvious I make it he still can't see it. Never mind that though anyways I got yams the perfect gift and I spent all my hard worked money on it my heart was ready to burst with excitement. Quickly I left and headed for school. When I arrive as usual Kageyma greets me with Hinata then I say hello to yachi,noya tanka and the rest of the team on the way to my locker. Across from my locker is Yamaguchi's so I sneak the gift behind my back and approach him. Before I could speak Yamaguchi picks me up spinning me around making me giggle "y/n guess what?!?" he yells "idk yams what?!??" i say back smiling thinking i'm finally going to confess to the boy I loved....

nothing is ever that perfect though...

" I HAVE A GIRLFRIEND" he yelled still smiling...the smile on my face drops and I feel my heart shatter 

After a year of planning only to see he didn't feel the same...

"oh Yamaguchi that's wonderful i'm so happy for you, better treat her right!" I say falsely trying to cover the cracking in my voice and the tears in my eyes as yams face lights up at my approval. 

" you're the best y/n  truly you're my best-est friend ever  i'm so lucky you're my friend" He says. just friend. Was I really stupid enough to think he'd see me as anything more. I still had the gift though I could give to him but he stops me again making me look at what his girlfriend got him...it was the same thing I got him I felt a lump in my throat and I almost broke down at his next words...

" I think I love her y/n" Yamaguchi says dazing into outer space. Love her? they JUST got together he can't be serious. now instead of sadness I felt jealous and angry but I don't have it in my heart to tell him everything I feel...

" so soon? she must really be special" I say he simply responds with "she is" before  walking to class leaving me in the hall way alone...I sigh throwing the expensive gift in the trash along with the note i wrote for him. I looked behind me to see Tsukkishima behind me head down.

" he has a girlfriend...Yamaguchi has a girlfriend..." I say in shock 

Tsukkishima looks at me saying "pshh like it will actually last trust me it wo-" before he finished I cut him off 

"HE LOVES HER TSUKISHIMA" I yell at him collapsing in his arms crying my heart out. Tsukkishima just sighs lifting my limp body up carrying me away from the school.

"huh were are you taking me?" I ask Tsukkishima just responds " you look like a mess you can't go to school like this..." ouch my feeling. 

Tsukkishima takes me to our usual hang out place we went with Yamaguchi kind of the worst place to bring me too but better than breaking down in school i guess. I sit on the grass looking up into the clouds sighing loudly. "Tsukkishima do you like anyone" I ask he then turns to me and smirks " like anyone is good enough for me" he chuckled " I did...he didn't feel the same I could tell...at least you ha the courage to TRY and tell yamaguchi when I fell for someone my pride wouldn't let me..." he continued. I shrugged " Tsukishima even if you're an ass you're a good friend" I say punching his arm lightly making him laugh. 

we stayed at the park a couple hours until my phone went bing. I quickly checked to see the contact...sure enough it was Yamaguchi... he asked me to meet him at the park closer to the school to talk...weird I thought but who knows we will see. I say bye to  Tsukkishima and head to yamaguchi. By the time I arrive it's dark..and i'm panting but still smile when I see yams. He seems off though...he looks nervous.

"whats up!? why did you call me?" I ask trying to sound friendly but his next statement was to much to handle...

"uhhh m-my girlfriend doesn't want me to hang out with you anymore...she said you like me and would try to steal me...silly right? Like I could ever have feeling for YOU in return.funny isn't she" I paused after he spoke suddenly I didn't care if it hurt him he needed to know how I was feeling. So I stare at him my eyes like daggers piercing through him. "y/n...?" he says 

"shut up honestly you made me run here at this hour just to say you're giving up on our friendship we had for years for some random fucking girl you just started dating you're seriously the dumbest person I ever met! I loved you yamaguchi and you didn't even notice ever how are you so blind!?!?!So yeah she was right I did like you but honestly I really really hate you right now tadashi and I hope it hurts. You want me out of your life?good, I don't want to be in it any ways" I say walking away leaving him stunned all alone in the park.
