Nos Ascendemus

WARNING: This is going to be a short chapter! Also, this may not be 100% accurate!

"I love you, baby."

"I love you too kitten and my two (2) approaching potatoes."

It was about twelve hours later since Serah's water had broken and she had been rushed to the club's hospital. All five (5) of them had dozed off a few hours ago as it had been a long waiting game.

Suddenly the door was opened and Doctor Kyra walked in with her team of nurses. The sound of the door opening was enough to wake everyone up and they all sat up, looking very groggy. The strawberry blonde was asked to position herself again for them to check her cervix dilation.

Before they could let her know how wide she had dilated, she let out a bloodcurdling screen of pain. The medical team sprung into action because she was at ten (10) centimetres and it was time for her to start pushing.

Soon they were completely ready and Benjamin was asked to escort the other three (3) out of the room because it could start to feel suffocating for the mother to be.

Taking everyone out, he told them if they would like they could sit in the waiting room and he'' let them know when the babies were born.

"Okay, go back to her, she's probably starting now and congratulations in advance, Benji!"

"Thank you, guys!"

With that said, the blonde turned on his heel and ran back in the direction of the hospital room where his wife was. Rushing through the doors, he dove to be by her side and held her hand, instantly regretting it because she started crushing his hand.

Wincing heavily, he braved it like a man because he knew that this tiny amount of pain was nowhere near what his kitten was feeling. Any pain she inflicted on him, Benjamin would take it in stride.

"Alright, honey get ready to start pushing." The nurse named Izzie said.

The grip on Benjamin's hand tightened and it felt like his hand was going to break. He was about to cry out in pain, but then Serah started screaming and leaning forward as she pushed. One of the nurses started to massage her shoulders to help ease up some tension.

It felt like hours she was pushing for, but in reality, it was only about seven (7) minutes and the young couple thought she would have to keep going for longer, but then.

"I see the head! He's crowning, keep pushing and taking deep breathes!"

Serah felt the stretch as one of her babies head pushed through and the rest just slid out relatively easily.

"I see arms, a torse, thighs anndddd feet! Congratulations on a healthy baby boy!"

One of the nurses cut the umbilical cord and quickly cleaned up the couple's newborn son, wrapping him in a blanket. Placing him on Serah's chest, the first cries were heard and it was the most beautiful sound the young couple had ever heard.

A couple (2) minutes later, she was ready to push again to birth their baby girl. This process was much quicker and only took about five (5) minutes. The same process was repeated and soon the pair of babies were laying on their mother's chest

The nurses and doctor looked at the new parents who were both crying tears of joy. One of them had stepped out and retrieved the three (3) of them who were sitting outside in the waiting room.

The trio started cooing at the babies, crying as well and congratulating the pair on their entry into parenthood.

Lennox looked at his sister and asked, "So, what have you guys decided to name them?"

Benjamin smiled down at his wife and two (2) babies, "Their names are Harper Ella Nilsson and Jasper Dean Nilsson."
