Lovers Or Not? Stray Kids ff✔️

Under the streetlights, we finally found each other

Days passed like seconds as there were almost no interactions between the two latters.

It was just three days before the midterm to the freshmen and the students are all studying hard.

Almost everywhere you can see were students stuffing their faces into the books, even the sports nerds.

Bang Chan, Minho and Changbin don't have mid terms but instead they have the final exam as they were seniors, soon to be gratudated.

The friends eventually got to know what their relationship was like by Hyunjin and Han telling them and they felt bad. Extremely bad.

They were trying to figure out how to fix the problem by the little time they could find between the studies.

Yonghee and Minho hadn't talked to each other that much like they were used to. Everytime they would meet unexpectedly, they would just look at each other and nod.
Their friends can't help but sigh at their interactions.

Yonghee wouldn't come and eat with them at lunch at all. It would be awkward as heck if she did to be honest.

She would eat with the girls everyday. She even became friends with Ryujin somehow after apologising to each other since they didn't have problems with each other after all.

Yonghee P.O.V

I was at the library trying to study for the exam. I don't usually study at library but this exam was important and studying at home was not....good for me as seeing Changbin oppa and Felix's was making me miss him.

'ting' 'ting' 'ting'

My phone vibrated and went around the table as I got a notification. Good thing I put my phone on silent mode or else the librarian would kick me out.

"Hey, Yonghee ah. I didn't want to disturb you but remember the cafe we first went as friends? Come there asap. I got something to tell you." It was from Seungmin and it seemed urgent?

I packed my things after thinking for a while and started walking to the cafe. It was where everything began. Where all the magic began and ran out....

I looked into the cafè from the window and saw a few people talking or hanging out. But no sights of Seungmin yet.

I went in and went to the counter, giving a smile to the worker who I am not familiar with. "How can I help you?"

"Can I have an ice americano?"
"Ice latte please?" I heard another voice talking at the same time as me.

I looked up, praying it wasn't him. I wasn't ready to meet him at all.

"Hi?...Yongie.."

Guess my prayers didn't work....
"Hi..Oppa..."

The boys were watching the scene unfolds secretly. "When are they gonna talk?" Changbin asked irritated by the amount of time they were taking to look at each other.

Felix just shook his head, while Hyunjin eyed Seungmin, admiring his features like the two latters.

"Ahem..." Bang Chan fake coughed, looking at Hyunjin. Hyunjin rubbed his neck in embarassment as he found out he got caught. 

"At least we didn't bring Innie. He should still as innocent little bean." Felix said to No-one in particular, taking a sip of tea. Everyone else on the table nodded, but little did they know, that innocent little bean had already found himself a girlfriend.

Minho P.O.V

We looked at each other, no one daring to  talk. Her brown round eyes, pink lips and those sparkles in her eyes..
I missed those....

Just before the awkwardness came in, the worker chimed in. "Is that all?"
We both nodded our head and rubbed our necks in embarrassment.

Walking side by side, we strolled the neighborhood. I needed a break from studying and so did she.

"I miss you...." I said faintly as she hummed softly. As I found my confidence, I said it once again.

"I miss you Yonghee." I said but this time with full of confidence and secendrity.

Then I looked around. We were just at the corner of the street, streetlight shining upon us. Shining upon my moon, my star and my sky.

"I love you." I blurted out, making her smile wide, her eyes forming cresent moons. We admired each other's features, our eyes locked.

"I really shouldn't be doing this..." She spoke up suddenly. It crushed my hopes. "You know we're kind of step siblings or something like that."

Just before I could finished talking, he pulled me into a sudden hug.
It was that embrace that I missed. The one that I missed hugging, crying and laughing.
Tears filled my eyes as our memories came back.

He cupped my cheeks and wiped a tear with his thumb. He tilted his head and planted his soft lips with mine.

Should I kiss him back?

It was my first kiss to be honest. Yes, the first kiss. Eventhough we dated before, we never had a kiss with lips. Just cheek kisses or foreheads.

I always wanted it to be special and it is. It's with the one I truly love. Lee Minho.

I started kissing him back, my hands on his neck. It was a sweet yet passionate one.

He looked at me after we finished that kiss.
"I'm sorry"
"no, don't say anything like that. Again. I don't want to hear another stupid sorry."

He gave me a smile.
A smile that says thank you.
A smile that says I love you.
A smile that says it will be okay.
A smile that says everything i needed.

"I found a way." He said, windering his hands with me as we walked to my house.
"To fix the problem."

"How?" I asked in doubts. "Let's just go to your house first. They will explain to you."
I raised my eyebrows at the mention of they and then I realized it was them. The people who I can't lie without.

"Wait so you planned all along?" I asked picking up the pieces. Minho oppa just gave me a chuckle. I gave him a soft slap on his arm.

"Gosh...i hate you."
"I love you too"
"Hope it works.."
"It will. Don't worry!"

"Omg....they are gonna regret not spying this one.... Changbin hyung"
"Definitely Seungmin ah..."
