Part 2

No one's p.o.v

Felix was looking out of the window that's when he saw Sara sitting under the huge redwood tree alone. It was not a new sight for him.

"She still pays his phone bill?" He asked Sammy who just got there. Sammy nodded saying yes.

"Sam don't you think it's time for her to move on? It's been a long time. She is like my own sister and seeing her like that hurts." Felix said.

"I know. But just imagine Felix if that happened to one of us, impossible right? That's why I don't force her." She said and sighed.

"True though, I have no idea what she's going through but I want this to stop sooner." Felix replied.

"Imagine seeing the person you love the most taking his last breath imagine being separated by the person you love the most because of death." Sammy said and without her knowing her eyes started watering.

"Sam ever heard of this? Those who loves us never truly leaves us. There are things that death cannot touch." Felix said comforted her while hugging her.

"Shh! Don't cry now. It'll be fine." He held the sobbing girl between his arms.

"Goodbye Sara, see you tomorrow!" Felix said after Sara came inside, it was getting dark so he decided to leave.

It was so silent and Sammy who is usually the silent type didn't like that peaceful environment.

"Sara. If you are tired go and sleep." She said and looked at her eyes, she looks exhausted.

"I'm not." She short answered her and gave a little smile to prove that she is fine. But Sammy knew her well.

"So what you gonna do tonight?" She asked Sara.

"I have work to do but I don't know I can't concentrate much lately." Sara said.

"You are probably tired baby." Sammy said. She knew that Sara is not tired, she is exhausted from all the crying inside the bathroom alone and because of all those feelings she is bottling up inside her, she is exhausted. Sammy knows that Sara doesn't like to show her emotions but that doesn't mean Sammy was not aware of her feelings. She knows more than she need to know that's why she was worried.

She was afraid because she had a fear of losing her too. Sammy thought she was not a huge help to her, she needed Jae, Andy and Boram to meet her because they are better mood makers than her.

"I'm not tired Sammy seriously. So when you guys gonna meet?" Sara asked, you guys mean her friends.

"Tomorrow." Sara hummed.

"Can you tag along with me please? I'm saying this for your own good." Sammy begged her.

Sara wanted to meet them so badly, but she knew she won't be able to control her emotions after seeing Yoshi, Haruto, Andy, Jae, Junkyu and Boram again. Those people mentioned above were best friends of Asahi and also her.

She still lives with his memories but she was afraid of the feeling of emptiness. It was 8 all the time, but now only 7 people are left, Sara was afraid to see the empty spot beside her. She wasn't ready for it yet. That's why she ditched all of her friends who were close with Asahi, because she was a coward.

But she started rethink her decision, is this what Asahi needed? He never liked when she gets sad, he always wanted to see her smile. Eventhough he being a guy who prefers being silent didn't helped much, he always did silly and weird things which can make her laugh to lighten up her mood.

Even before he left, he told her to be happy.

"Keep smiling Sara. You have to promise me that, I don't have to be the reason behind your smile but please be happy." 

That's what he said to her before they took his life away. She tried her best to keep that promise, but it was bit difficult.

I have to be happy. She thought.

"Asahi told you to enjoy your life Sara please." Sammy spoke again.

Sara nodded and said yes making Sammy smile.

"I'll tell them." She said.

Sara's p.o.v

It hurts me seeing Sammy getting stress over my stubborn behaviour and also I needed my friends back. So I agreed and seeing Sammy's little smile after hearing my answer made me smile too.

Night passed and the morning came, I was up before Sammy because of my insomnia but couldn't get out of the bed. Finally I dragged my feets lazily to the couch and sat there staring at the space.

As usual the door opened and Felix came in searching for Sammy.

As much as I know it's impossible I wish I could see him one more time walking through that door and calling my name, but he didn't kissed me like Felix did to Sam because he was so shy.

Again, a tear I couldn't stop fell down from my eye. I knew he can feel my tears and hate to see my cry and I didn't wanted to Sammy and Felix see me crying. I quickly wiped away my tear drop. But it was already late. Sammy already noticed me.

"Get ready Sara, we have to leave in 30 minutes." Sammy said in order to change the topic.

Asahi, look at me I finally decided to take my first step towards happiness, they are my happiness. Don't complain now, I know it took a long time but finally I'm trying to live as you wanted me to.
