" Giyuu Tomioka, that's a nice name. " I complimented with a smile. " Are you still training? If so, I recommend you to train everyday, every night, without sleeping. Because there's this demon, who has a brother who's about to be a demon slayer like you and Kanao. Since the final selection is  ( insert time ) away, this is why I'm telling you to train overnight, " Giyuu told me. My mind went really confused, " Demon's brother who's about to be a demon slayer? But wouldn't her brother be dead by now since she's a demon? ". " No. You see, the demon girl, doesn't and will never eat humans because she wants to protect humans and let them not be killed. If she eats a human, she'll become a full demon and will get killed immediately by one of us, " Giyuu answered. He looked at me with that bland face and said, " You see, not all demons are bad just because they have self concious on themselves. And the good ones especially her aren't under Muzan's control. ". " Muzan? Who's that? " I asked. And that's where he started explaining everything ( well, not everything ) to me.

" Muzan Kitsubuji is a demon of course. But he can turn humans into demons and share their blood to either lower moons or higher moons. If you're asking me what are they, lower moons are basically more stronger than the regular demons you see. But the higher ones, we won't be able to defeat them if either of us are alone. We don't know who or where they are yet, but we need to make sure they stay down before all of us pillars or regular slayers die. But Muzan.. is a hard choice to make. Because if every one of us pillars die, it's a possible way that you regular demon slayers will die too if you team up because Muzan's power is more stronger than you think, " Giyuu said. After hearing those sentences, that's where I realised my mistake to see if I could be a successful demon slayer or not. Turns out, not everyone can be a demon slayer because they are risking their lives for the final selection. But why? Just to be heroes? No. They're just trying to save humans, and that's their job after all. I asked, " Giyuu, what happens if all of us fight Muzan first? All the demons with his blood can die, right..? " " Y/N, that's not what you think. You see, as I said, Muzan is the strongest demon right? It'll be unable to fight him first as he may call other demons either he'll turn us into demons to eat other humans. And we don't want that, alright? " Giyuu answered. I slightly nod thinking it was a great idea, but nope. I was wrong to think about that. What a fucking dumbass Y/N.

" Keep training, Muichiro will come in a moment, " Giyuu told. " Huh?? WAIT WHAT?- " I looked around, but I got hit too fast. " Who were you talking to? " Muichiro asked. " G-giyuu..- " I said while I was hurt on the ground. " Get up, I'll have to see if the breathing is right or not, " he ordered. So I did, I was focused on my breathing. And before I could even speak, he cut the FUCK off my sentence. " Good job, " he said. " Let's go somewhere as a gift okay? " he asked holding my hand. I nod, and we went to our next destination.

A hill. A fucking hill. Why the fuck would he want to bring me to a fucking hill. My eyes got into a bored way and he made me stood between the trees. " What are we even doing here? " I asked. Then Muichiro answerd, " This is where training is gonna get more harder than usual. There will be knives, ropes and basically anything to hurt you. If you could come back to the butterfly manison, congrats to you, I guess. ". " Wait no- Muichiro does that mean you'll be leaving me all alone here then?- " I asked, no reply. I looked around my sorroundings again, he's FUCKING gone. WOW. SO HE'S TORTURING ME TO DEATH, HOW THE FUCK GREAT. But, what could go wrong for just walking? He said that it'll make it harder for me, but I'm done with his bullshit.

As I was walking down my way back to the butterfly manison, i heard rustling noises, immediately thought it was a demon coming for me. But when i looked over to my left, there were 15 knives coming for me. I ducked, and of course all of the knives missed me. I panicked for over a minute, and made my way back home.

After hours of pain, wounds, etc, I'm finally back at the butterfly manison that took at least a few hours. But when I saw the sky, it looked like it was morning already. Did I spent my time there for too long? I remember it was night time when Muichiro took me to the stupid hill. I walked my way to the entrance greeting Shinobu, Kanae ( before she wasn't dead ) Mitsuri and the other pillars except for Muichiro.

Every step I took, pain. I asked Kiyo, Naho and Sumi where Aoi is. They lead me to Aoi to treat my wounds. " Aoi!! Y/N needs your help!! " The adorable triplets called. Aoi looked at me and then my wounds. She took some bandaids for me, and patched up those wounds on my skin. I thanked her and she went back to what she was doing. I went outside to look for Muichiro, and I found him. He looked at me, not suprised at all. " Congrats, you just did the first speedrun back to the butterfly manison, now follow me back to the hill, " Muichiro ordered. My jaw dropped and SLIGHTLY complained, " Okay, so I had to speedrun from THAT murderous hill, ran ALL the way here with KNIVES? ROPES? A LOG THAT COULD SQUISH ME OR PUSH ME AWAY? AND NOW WE'RE GOING BAC- " as I was about to finish my sentence, he cut the FUCK out of me. " This is a part of your training, you're halfway done, " Muichiro said as he went back to the hill but another destination. Where.. there was a giant fucking rock? He handed out a katana to me and said, " Once you've cut this boulder, you will be able to get in the final selection. Good luck. ". " WAIT- HOW AM I- " I yelled as I looked around me again, he left me. " First try won't hurt, right? " I focused on my breathing, and slayed the boulder which did nothing but hurt m e. I hear a coinflip behind me so I turned my head and saw Kanao, she got tails. " Hey, Kanao! What's that you got there? " I held my body, and walked towards her. " I'm just making a choice on this coinflip for what I am doing if I see something needed or not, " she answered. I nod, and showed her the boulder and asked, " Have you cut this fucking boulder? It's too big for me to slay. " She shook her head, looked down and said, " Hey.. could I train with you before we go to the Final Selection together? " My eyes grew WIDE with happiness. I hugged her tightly and yelled, " YES!! " Her eyes filled with surprise, and smiled and melted in for the hug. After that, we started training.

After two years of training, or maybe, after pain, Kanao and I have decided that we should cut the boulder. " Kanao, you go first. I'm positive that you'll cut it with all your strength! " I cheered. She nod with all her might, and got ready her sword. I watched her from behind, trying not to disturb her. She focused on what she was doing, and was about to cut the boulder in two. And..- it was a success! I clapped being cheerful and all that stuff, but it's now my turn. Kanao and I walked to my boulder, she watched me smiling, as I try to focus on my skill. Sweat was coming  out of my forehead. My grip onto my sword was really tight, not letting a single part of my palms on the grip leave, as I focused on my breathing too. I made a move with my katana, and sliced the boulder. And,

it got cut into two.
