All I know is, things happen for a reason.
The way the air changes with each season.
There's a chapter that sometimes is heartbreaking to get through,
It's scary, to start a chapter anew.

You think certain people would still be in your life,
You don't think they would cause a strife.

But when you've done everything
You put away your pride,
And still your feelings are pushed aside?
They say the grass is greener on the other side,
It's green, where you water it.
And now, I can walk away knowing,
I was the only one watering it,
And you were the one cutting it down.

So now I guess you won't be seeing me around.
