Ch 16 - Chaos

Next day 5.25am Beam wakes up turning around restlessly "the alarm will start beeping now" and calls Hercules.

Forth picks up on second ring "how come so early?"

Beam says yawning "I was waiting for your watch to beep" Forth smiled.

Beam "can u believe I am getting up so early without an alarm! You have a bad influence on me Hercules" Forth smiled again.

Beam pulls the spread over his head "are you in gym right now?"

Forth hums for a yes "umm" practicing his kicks & punches on the punching bag.

Beam yawns again "how can anyone workout at this hour" at the same time the watch starts beeping. Beam switches it off.

Beam in arouse voice "I am going back to sleep"

Forth smiles "sweet dreams" and beam dosses off.

At 8.00am Forth calls Beam.

Beam yells in irritation "What?"

Forth moves the receiver away "you are going to be late for college beam"

Beam is sleeping "I spoke with just now"

Forth "that was 2 1/2hrs back"

Beam "what's the time now?"

Forth "8.00am"

Beam sits up on bed and groans "you should have woke me up sooner, you know I wake up at 7.30am everyday"

Forth "what am I? Your personal alarm? And more over you didn't ask me to wake you up"

Beam "then why did you called me this early?"

Forth "It was 8, usually you call at 7.30 so I was just wondering what happened"

Beam "couldn't you wonder this little bit earlier! If I am late for college again, watch me what— wait let me call Kit" he puts his call on hold & wakes up grumpy kit.

Forth walks to dining table to have his breakfast and sits down.

Grandma asks forth serving him toast "I heard from a little birdy almost gave a scare too few people yesterday due to your allergy attach?"

Forth clears his throat "it was an honest mistake. He didn't know"

Grandma "umm! BTW, you gave him the ring?"

Forth smiled.

Grandma grins "how sweet! So shall I speak with Mr. Baramee about the marriage?"

Forth spits the hot coffee in shock coughing. Leave it his grandma to be this blunt "No! Not yet grandma

Grandma scoffs at him "now what are you waiting for? Till your kids grow up?"

Forth "Grandma!!!"

Grandma looks at forth and her eyes widens "NO! oh no no no! You just gave him the ring without proposing him?" At the same time Beam resumed the call.

Beam "what? What proposing?"

Forth chocks for the second time "nothing"

Beam narrows his eyes "tell me what proposing?"

Forth "huh! It's a new project proposal"

Beam "But I heard proposing" Forth's Grandma giggles at his plight. Forth clears his throat requesting Grandma to be quite.

Beam "you are hiding something! I can clearly tell! Are you planning to propose someone?"

Forth kisses his grandma on cheeks as bye & sits in the car "I did proposed you! Didn't I?"
