The Nimbasa City Gym

After my battle with Burgh, I go to a Pokemon Center to heal and remember what gym is next.  The Nimbasa City Gym, the electric type gym.  This is a problem.

Unlike with Burgh's gym, I don't have any pokemon strong against electric types.  In fact, two of my pokemon are weak to it!  Knowing this tells me there's only one thing to do.

Train to level 30.

I race to the Battle Company tower, grab the Exp. Share and shove it onto Dr. Goug.

I start to head towards Nimbasa City and I run into that one guy with weird, blue hair that I saw in the sewers.  He looks at my pokemon and says that my Tarst shows more self-confidence than most Dewotts.  He introduces himself as Colress and he then rambles on about bringing out the power in Pokemon before challenging me to a battle.  I accept.  I meet him on Route 4 and our battle begins.

Colress stands infront of a wall of Crustle which he makes move by using a machine.  Neat!

He first sends out his Magnemite which causes me some issues.  It paralyzes Margaret and lands two critical hits on her.  I then switch out to Dr. Goug who can't hurt Magnemite because I'm dumb and forgot that steel is immune to poison.  I then send out Coil who takes it down.   Coil then defeats his Klink and wins us the battle.

I make it to Nimbasa City and meet this guy named Nate who looks like me but as a boy.  Odd.  He asks me to battle the subway bosses with him and I say yes.  We win the battle pretty easily and they say I'm allowed to use the battle subway now.  Thanks!  I won't!

I head to Route 16 to start training.  I encounter a Gothita but fail to catch it because Tarst is just too strong and killed it.  So instead I head to Rout 5 where Bianca shows me a Hidden Grotto with a Minccino in it!  I catch Minccino and name him Espresso.  Our future looks bright with a team of six pokemon and only one casualty so far!  Rest in peace, Branca.

While training, Rattata evolved into a Crobat!  I am so excited and happy about this because I've never had a Crobat and now I do.  It amazing.  Coil also evolved but into a Magneton!  I've never had a Magneton either so this is also new and exciting for me!

Okay so, it is currently 1:25 am and I just finished leveling up my team.  I spent so much time doing this for you readers so I hope you're enjoying this.  I'm also having fun with this so it's been worth it.

After finishing my training,  I head to the gym and the gym leader isn't there.  This better not be a theme.  I go play on a rollercoaster until she returns.  Time for the battle!  I am given Fresh Water from the man at the entrace and begin my journey.

I defeat Elesa's army of models and now the real battle begins.

She starts the battle with her Emolga and I start with Dr. Goug.  Emolga uses Volt Switch instantly, bringing out her Flaffy.  I put an end to her fun by throwing toxic spikes around her pokemon's feet.  I then use Sludge Bomb on her Flaffy and poison it.  A venoshock lands and almost kills the Flaffy but it lives and uses Volt Switch.  Emolga is back out and I heal Dr. Goug.  Volt Switch is used again which bring Flaaffy back out.  Luckily, the poison knocks out the Flaaffy, leaving us with two more opponents.

Emolga is back out and uses Volt Switch, which swaps the flying squirle for Zebstrika.  Zebstrika is poisoned by the toxic spikes upon arrival.  It uses Volt Switch and brings Emolga back out.  Emolga uses Volt Switch and brings out Zebstrika. I'm tired of this.  Luckily, Zebstrika actually attacks! Dr. Goug takes the chance and kills it with a Venoshock.

Finally is her Emolga who I poison with a Sludge Bomb.  She uses Volt Switch over and over but there's no more running for her.  Dr. Goug heals up and finishes the battle.

Elesa sashays towards us and awards us the Bolt Badge.

In case you're confused, the order these pokemon will appear on the trainer card will be:

Tarst (Dewott)
Margaret (Leavanny)
Coil (Magneton)
Dr. Goug (Trubbish)
Rattata (Crobat)
Espresso (Minccino)
