"Hey um Eren, it's ok if you don't know the ans-"
"I know the answer!"
You widen your eyes as you lean in to look at his notebook in front of him.
"Are you sure that's the answer?"
He looks up at you and plucks your exposed forehead making you lean back rubbing it.
"Of course it is! I'm smart!"

"That's wrong."
The teacher words made you confused.
'Eh?'
You slowly turn to Eren who's sweating bullets right now. You face palm as your now doomed in passing the finals next week since your study partner is... dumb.
"Levi and Petra. Do you guys know the answer?"
You were obviously jealous that they were working together but of course you wouldn't show it.
"Well Levi and I studied our answers thoroughly and I strongly believe we got it right!"
Petra stands up out of her seat while Levi sat next to her hardly paying attention. The teacher changed your seats for you guys to study easier. So Mikasa and Hange, You and Eren, and Levi and Petra.
"Just answer the question already."
Hange yawned leaning back in her chair letting out a loud sigh. Petra looks a bit over at Hange and then back at the teacher. She rambles on and on explaining the correct answer.
"Thank you Petra for the correct answer. You guys can continue working on the next problems til class is over."
"I t-thought I knew the answer...sorry."
Eren taps your shoulder and puts his hands together in an act of forgiveness.
"If your truly sorry buy me snacks after school."
"I already bought them for the last two weeks!"
You smile poking him in the cheek.
"Oh well."
"I don't really understand this Levi, can you help me with this?"
Petra looks up to Levi waiting for an answer. But she didn't get one. He was busy.
Busy staring at you and Eren fooling around.
"Levi?"
Petra taps his shoulder making him turn and glare at her.
"Figure it out yourself. That's the best way to learn."
He calms down and starts to study his work by himself. Petra looks away from Levi a bit annoyed. She knew he was staring at you and Eren. Her mind wandered places raging with jealousy.

Several minutes pass and you Eren finally started working. You guys barely got work done seriously since Eren kept fooling around making you laugh.
"Would you guys like to share what so funny with the class?"
Quickly you shut up and pretended to do your work.
Hange was even cracking up.
"Sorry, we'll do our work."
You pluck at Eren's head to warn him to be serious about this. He rubs the spot sulking in pain.

The bell rings right after you and Eren finish. You stood up from your seat happier than ever. Everyone gets up out of their seats and moves around. Eren stands up with you cheering happily.
It's crazy how you've known each other for such a long time but never been this close before. It made you happy. But we're you really? Or did you just push those thought of Levi to the back of your brain hoping they wouldn't surface again?
Even so, it didn't matter to you. But for some reason, you couldn't help but be reminded of Levi all the time.
"Ok let's go buy those snacks you were tal-"
Soon Eren was cut off by Levi stiffly knocking into Eren's shoulder with his.
