Your first thought was to go to the convenience store. Mother wouldn't mind if you got candy as long as you got her some for her.

The fresh scent of lavender mixed with lemon was all over the store. It was one of those spacious convenience stores with a lot of storage. It was better off being called a supermarket but cheaper.

Several minutes wandering around picking up bags of candy as you stroll. You cross pass aisles looking for more snacks to grab until your eyes grab something else.

The cleaning aisle.

Levi.

You breathe in and out trying to grab hold of your composure.

But once you looked back he wasn't there. A sigh of relief.

"What are you doing?"

"OH MY GOSH-"

Your heart. Levi scared the crap out of you standing next to you.

"How did you know I was here?"

"I saw you."

"B-But ho-"

"Why are you here?"

"I came for snacks..."

He was bout ready to leave, but instinctively you grab hold of his shoulder.

"What?"

"I want to talk to you.."

"..."

"Fine."

Meanwhile

"I just don't understand why he would do this.."

Geoffrey knew that your mother was hurt just by looking into her eyes.

"Am I not a good enough wife? I haven't even seen him for weeks and now-"

"Stop talking. You are a great woman who takes care of two kids who are well disciplined."

"Oh stop Geo."

M/n wipes her tears with the damp tissue in hand. She was still a bit drunk even after drinking the bottle of water Geoffrey gave her.

"Thanks Geoffrey but I can't take all the credit. You help out a lot with the girls."

"It's my job."

A smiles creeps up on his face teasing him to giggle a bit.

"Yeah yeah I know! But I really appreciate it a lot."

She places her hand on his shoulder grateful for his presence. She doesn't even know what she would've done with Geoffrey.

She crept her hand up at the back of his neck. Staring into his eyes. Sometimes it was easy to think that Geoffrey was the better father figure to the kids.

She loved that about him.

"Come on M/n, let's put you to rest.."

He removed her dainty hand away from his neck and brought her to her room. She would wobble here and there but the hand around her waist stayed firm.

"Geo."

"Yes?"

"You are one loyal butler, you know that?"

"Haha, yes I do."
