The room fell still as the two werewolves circled the cage. Claws and teeth bared, both searching for an opening while Trevor shifted, ripping his shirt in the process and took guard over the door. The match was going to happen, and no one was going to stop it.

Jet grabbed the bars behind him. "Come on Titus. Let's see what you got." He stated as he laughed to himself. "Like I said, Alpha against Beta has never been a fair fight."

Titus launched off the side of the cage and charged his opponent. Jet met him halfway and collided with Titus. The crowd erupted and began yelling at the two men as they started to tear into each other.

"Titus!" screamed Aden as Jet threw him to the ground and climbed on top of Titus.

"Stop it. Stop the fight!" screamed the object of this fight as the little white wolf forced himself to sit up but ended up tumbling to the ledge below.

Darius grabbed Aden and tried to help him up and to calm the frighten wolf but Aden just fought the soon to be Alpha.

"No! Titus!"

Darius took him into his arms as the poor wolf watched blood pour from a wound on Titus's shoulder. They wrestled each other across the arena and managed to separate for a moment. Climbing to their feet, both were breathing heavily. Blood dripped from Titus's fingertips.

"Titus," Aden whimpered out.

Titus eyes met Aden's and that split break of concentration gave Jet the opening he was looking for as he slammed into Titus, knocking him to the ground.

Aden screamed as tears begin to fall. "Stop the fight, please stop the fight."

"He'll win," whispered Darius. "Believe in your mate, Aden."

Titus was struggling to keep Jet's jaws away from his throat. So much blood covered the ground as both men bleed from multiple wounds.

"Stop it, please. I'll go with Jet just tell Trevor to stop it."

Darius cradled Aden in his arms as the poor wolf wept. The crowd were all on their feet screaming at the fighters. Xavier and Oscar had moved to the cage and were pressed up against the bars, yelling instructions to their sons. Jet dug his claws into Titus's chest and tore through the skin. Titus cried out in pain and kicked the slightly larger wolf off him. He staggered to his feet, holding the wound.

Not taking it anymore Aden gathered all the strength he had, and freed himself from Darius who was preoccupied with the fight, and stumbled toward the cage. "Titus!"

"He's done," said a man in the crowd.

"It's only a matter of time before the toxin take effect," said another.

Aden clutched the bars and muscled himself up. "Titus!"

Darius grabbed him from behind. "Aden, get away from the bars."

"No!"

Jet attacked again and after a weak struggle Titus was forced onto the ground again. The scent of blood was overwhelming.

"Aden, get away from the cage."

"No!" Aden reached for his mate as Titus fought to keep Jet from delivering the final bite.

He carved into the large werewolf's sides. Titus's strength was failing; everyone could see it.

"Move away from the bars," whispered Darius.

Aden clung to them until his strength gave out. "No! Titus!"

Darius picked him up around the middle.

Aden touched the mark on his shoulder that will now be there forever as he shouting out "Jet!"

The room fell still at the sound of a windpipe being crushed. Aden's eyes stared back into Jet's lifeless orbs with Titus latched onto his throat.

"The boy cheated!" cried Oscar, slamming his fist on the bars as Titus rolled Jet's body off him. "They used the boy as a distraction. Northern Ridge cheated!" He shoved Trevor out of the way and tried to break the lock off. "Open it now. Open the fucking door!"

The crowd one by one sat down as the distraught father demanded the cage be unlocked. Aden sunk into Darius's arms and clasped his face as mixed emotion played with him. Titus was sprawled across the ground, gasping for air.

"Titus," Aden whispered.

A sharp pain hit Aden's shoulder and his knees gave out. Darius set the little wolf down as he clasped Jet's mark. It burned, making it clear that creator was dead.

"He did it Aden," said Darius, rubbing his back.

So lost inside his mind, he hadn't realized he was a sobbing mess and trembling. "Titus," he whispered, reaching out.

Darius helped him to his feet and took him to the side of the cage. Titus looked over at Aden. Aden wiped his eyes and gave his mate a small smile. He returned it and rolled onto his side.

"You!” Oscar raised a clawed hand ready to strike.

Aden screamed as Darius dove at his attacker, and fell to his knees. Xavier joined his son in the struggle, and they managed to get the Bloodhound Alpha under control. Trevor and his men stepped in and dragged Oscar from the room.

"You're done Xavier!" he yelled. "I'll kill that boy and everyone else that belong to Northern Ridge. You will all die." The door slammed shut, blocking out his voice.

Aden threaded his arm through the bars while Titus crawled toward him.

"I did it," he said in a hoarse voice, grabbing his hand.

Aden laughed through the tears and looked around to see if there was any way he could get in, to touch his mate to make sure he was okay.

"Open the door," state Xavier.

"I sent someone to get the key," said Trevor.

Aden let go of Titus's hand, and staggered to the door still feeling weak from being sick. "I want in. Open it please."

Trevor rubbed his face. "The key will be-"

"Move." Darius pushed Trevor out of the way and grabbed the side of the door.

Xavier stepped in and together they bent the bar just enough to create a space for the small wolf to slide through. He wiped his face and knelt down. Darius held the door so it strained the chain, making the hole slightly bigger. Lying on his side, he wiggled through. The moment he was on the other side, Darius let go, and the door slammed back into place.

As soon as Aden was in a medical team come in as the door was unlocked. The team stepped in and went over to Jet to bring his body back to his pack.

One of the medical team reached down and grabbed his hand when he felt a very weak pulse in Jet's wrist.

"Holy shit! Guys he's still alive!"

The medical team got their bags but before they could even touch him again his pulse was almost nonexistent and his heart was no longer beating. Moving quickly they got out their crash set and began pumping his chest so the heart would hopefully beat again. Another team member jabbed Jet's left lung allowing air to go in and out of his lung.

As the medical team zapped Jet's heart twice they were finally able to get a beat out of it.

"His wolf is strong." One of the team members said.

"Hurry up and wrap things up and grab as much as you can we have to get this guy to the closet hospital." The team leader shouted to the other members.

"How he's still in his wolf form!?"

"We’ll take him to West Ridge Hospital its filled with both wolfs and humans now come on they have the stretcher."
