Is this a dream? Last night, Soobin could sleep peacefully without a nightmare. Wow, what a great thing to happen for a kid like him. He often got a nightmare about being bullied or something like belittled by his parents.

That wasn't good when you woke up after.

But last night was the best sleep he had in months, maybe. He didn't know why, but it felt like the presence of the grim reaper made his life better.

Oh, right. The grim reaper.

Last night, when he was talking with the grim reaper, he knew that the information he got from him would make the grim reaper failed his mission. That's why the grim reaper want him to promise to still do suicide. But yeah, he would do suicide anyway, and he was sure of that.

But wait- why his life got better since the grim reaper appeared? Since the night he was drunk and almost jumped from the bridge to the river? He didn't know either. Wasn't grim reaper supposed to give a negative aura around? But Soobin didn't care much about that.

Today was Saturday, and Soobin had his time for doing anything- since the university was free on weekend and he had no schedule there. It was nine at morning, and the sunlight already peeking from the windows that covered by the curtains and glass door to the balcony.

He gazed at the glass door, where last night the grim reaper stood, watching him. It was nothing there now, just a blue sky with a morning sunlight.

Maybe Soobin kind of wanted the presence of him.

Oh- why he wanted the grim reaper around him anyway? That was silly! How come you missed a kind of supernatural being? That's dumb, he thought made him come to his sense again. He shrugged, shook his head threw his mind, and stood up from his bed. His door suddenly knocked by someone outside, and a woman voice came after.

"Soobin-ssi, are you awake already?"

It was one of the maid at his- no, his parent's mansion-like house.

"Yes, I'm awake," Soobin shouted to answer the maid. "Just come in."

The door opened, showing the one maid in her middle forty with a small smile on her face, facing Soobin now.

"Your parents want you to join them to have breakfast today."

The boy furrowed his brows deeply, looking at the maid confused.

"So sudden? Weird..." Soobin mumbled to himself, but the maid could hear him clearly, and she smiled again fondly.

"Maybe they want to spend their time with you, Soobin-ssi." She said that nonchalantly. Don't get her wrong, she was the closest to Soobin, just like a family, treated him greater than his mother, and she was working for them the longest, since Soobin was born, and by that she knew how the parents acted to him and what Soobin felt to his parents.

"It will never happen, believe me, I know," Soobin scoffed, but immediately let his lips curved upward, smiling to the maid, "thank you anyway, just tell them I will be at the dining room in 10, I need to shower first," he said.

The maid nodded, excusing herself out from his room, leaving him alone again.

He sighed, when his parents wanted to meet him or invite him to eat together, that just had one meaning, they wanted him to do something. What a wonderful life, yeah.

He just wished this breakfast didn't ruin his mood for today.

Soobin walked into the dining room, just to be met by his mother and father that already seated and was silent, the room felt heavy and tensed.

He seated himself across his parents, silently and nodded to them, "mom, dad," he said as an averment that he was there and already seated, ready for the breakfast.
