A New Motive

Kokichi's pov

My eyes flutter open as the booming sound of the morning announcement plays. I start getting up when monokuma suddenly   appears on the screen, "Puhuhuhuhuhu I have another motive for you come to the gym!" the monitor turned off and like that I got read and started heading to the gym.

I get to the gym not the last to arrive but definitely not the first, kaito, Maki, tenko, himiko somehow, ryoma, gonta, and mom were already there. I walk around trying to find someone to annoy that wouldn't get extremely mad like Kaito or Maki. I was about to go up to mom to tease her when kaede and shuichi walked into the gym quickly followed by Rantaro kiibo and korekiyo, they all split up and I decide to go tease shuichi. "Heyyyy saihara~chan!" I said sneaking up on him making him flinch "a-ah, oh hey kokichi" he said pulling down his hat "heyyyyyy why won't you look at me, your eyes are always covered by that stupid emo hat" I fake pouted letting out a small grunt of frustration. "I- um- sorry-" shuichi barely finished his sentence when Kaito came up seeing that I was messing with him "hey! Leave my sidekick alone!" he said quite angered "hmph! I wasn't even doing anything" then out of no where Maki came up saying "do you wanna die?" I wanted to respond 'yes' but no one would believe me so I simply said "no" suddenly monokuma pops out of no where and starts giving a small speech about how we haven't killed yeT blah blah blah "puhuhuhu because your not killing why not give a special motive!" A motive? Hm what kind? "This motive will be veryyy special, it will definitely target some people more than others! This motive is a gas you could say" A gas? Suddenly monokuma pulls out a bomb and throws it at us the  second it hit something gas started pouring out of it, it lasted for a few minutes before stopping leaving us with a bomb or something  it seemed empty though, "HEY DEGENERATE BEAR WHAT WAS THAT?!" Tenko yelled "Puhuhuhu its a bomb containing 'lying gas'" "what's lying gas?" shuichi asked "simple, its a gas that will stop anyone from lying, and if they do manage to lie it'll hurt them " what- wait no what he's saying can't be true I still can lie, right? "Well this will help a lot with cockichi!" "HAH like that thing actually works" I say confidently even though I'm having a panic attack on the inside "kokichi, do you like it here" "no" I immediately slapped my hand over my mouth, why can't I lie no no no no no no, I immediately run out of the room going to my dorm locking it behind me

Shuichis pov

Kokichi ran out of the gym incredibly fast. Maybe I shouldn't have asked him that and exposed his lie, now I feel bad he's suffering because of me proving monokumas motive. "Good going sidekick!" I hear Kaito say as he puts his hand on my shoulder "y-yeah I guess" if kokichi were here he'd insult me on my stuttering. I sigh knowing what I did probably made kokichi hate me. "Hey even if you think kokichi is mad at you and all you did the right thing." needs said reassuringly "yeah I think it was the right thing to do" I mumbled under my breath "Hey sidekick! Come train with me and Maki roll today!" Kaito said loudly "don't call me that" Maki said annoyed "y-yeah alright" and with that they walked off "well now I have FreeTime, what should I do?"
