"You have worked hard until now, and we are very proud of you, thank you for being a good and sweet Son," said Mrs Alice to Tine while tying the tie to her son in Tine's room. Tine wore a black suit, white inner shirt with black tie, his hair combed to the back neatly.

"I wouldn't have been able to go this far without your help, papa, Phi Tharn, you too have worked hard to support me, I'm so grateful for that". Mother and son smile at each other. Then Mrs Alice fixed her son's suit and hair, making sure he was ready for today's big event.

"Let me look at you once again, ... I think you're more than ready now, take your gown and let's go down, Papa and your Phi have waited for us". Tine nodded.

Precisely today, Tine was going to take his doctor's oath. After nearly five years of struggling to complete his education and coass, he is happy that today he will become a doctor. He was waiting for this moment. Together with his friends, he was about to take the doctor's oath and he was more than ready for it.

Tine came forward, he was standing in front facing the podium with his friends who lined up neatly behind him, he asked to lead his friends to recite their oath. And now, He looked very nervous. On the podium stood the dean of his faculty, representatives of members of the medical council and representatives of medical organizations, as well as his mother who was a senior committee member.

Mrs Alice smiled at her son giving him support, he can do it. Tine nodded, then he took a deep breath and started reciting his oath followed by his friends from behind.

I swear to fulfil, to the best of my ability and judgment, this covenant:

I will devote my life to the benefit of humanity.

I will carry out my duties in an honourable and ethical manner in accordance with the dignity of my job as a doctor.

I will maintain with all my might the dignity and noble tradition of the medical profession.

I will keep everything I know a secret because of my profession.

I will not use my knowledge for anything contrary to humanity, even if threatened.

I will always prioritize patient health, with attention to the interests of society.

I will make every effort so that I will not be influenced by considerations of religion, nationality, ethnicity, gender, politics, social position and types of disease in fulfilling obligations to patients.

I will pay my teachers the appropriate respect and expression of thanks.

I will treat my colleagues like siblings.

I will obey and practice the Medical Code of Ethics.

I take this vow solemnly and at the risk of my own honour.

The head of the medical council taps the hammer three times ending the medical oath-taking trial and certifying medical students who have just taken their legal oath to become doctors.
