Chapter 3

Two days had past since I went back to work to get things sorted out.

It's been harder with work since I'm the only heir to my father's businesses, so I have to take ownership for all business that he owns.

And that's quite a lot but I got help.

Des and Rick are CEO of two company each where they wanted to work. Rick deal the cars at the De'Mortes' Automobile and De'Mortes' Shipping Company.

Des is at De'Mortes' Enterprise and De'Mortes' Liquor Voyage.

Yeah that's a lot of De'Morte I know. My dad was really full of himself and loved the last name he had.

So that's it with work. So with the mafia thing now.

I was the leader of a small gang called Reapers. I wasn't on the good side nor the bad. I dealt with killers, kidnappers, the pow pow and other mafia gangs...etcetera etcetera.

I worked for myself and not my dad.

Now I'm the boss for my father's gang too, which is just too much for a 19 year old to handle.

But hey, what gives? I'm my father's son after all.

So y'all remembered Carlos Tusis that I killed. So I figured out who he sold my drugs to and I paid him a visit.

He didn't know that it was mine. Don't worry though he's not dead I just gave him a little reminder not to take what's not his.

"Dani come look at this." We were in dad's office. "It's a letter from your dad. Saying something about drug dealers or some shit."

I read it and noticed what it was.

"I told my dad about Carlos and he said he had a drug dealer that he had been dealing with for over 3 years now. This says it's a drug dealer from Jamaica called Scarlet Patterson. He says she can be trusted and maybe we can form a bond."

Scarlet Patterson, Jamaican drug lord huh. I love Jamaica if I'm not lying. It's just relaxing you know.

"She's known as DC meaning Dark Child. No one knows who she really is. Everyone thinks she's a man. Some people say females can't do specific work because of their gender. That's where they fuck up. You can't just look at a woman and tell her she can't do certain things. She could be a cold blooded killer sitting right under your nose and you wouldn't suspect her because she's a woman. Don't underestimate them."

Society is kinda weird.

So that's one more down. First one on the list is Blu Mcshyre my gun guy and a childhood friend even though he's older than me.

Well he's apart of Reapers so I don't think that counts.

"So when are you going to see this Scarlet person."

I shrugged. "Ion know yet. I got a lot of work to do."

Remember the guy I had a meeting with the day my father died? I started the mansion the day after my father died and I want it to be finished before the end of this month.

Work comes with a lot of pressure when you're my age but I work for what I want and I don't give up.

With that confidence you will succeed. My mother told me to change my attitude though but what's a person without a lil attitude?

"Well we need to get to work and you need a PA." Rick said out of the blue.

I shook my head. "With so much things going on I don't need a PA right now. There will be too much drama going on around that the boss is sleeping with his PA. Don't you know how these things always end up? They always want me and I end up having sex with them."
