Chapter Ten

You know what I might just make a move otherwise I will probably regret not doing anything in the future. We've been talking for a few minutes now, I noticed Marissa was taking long time in the bathroom to give us pretty much a bit of space so I'm not gonna waste it.

"So Demi how's your new album coming?" I asked trying to make conversation.

"Pretty well actually, better than I expect it to be but it has a lot of really personal songs in it. I kind of opened up a bit more on this album than any other and I don't know how people are going to react to it. It's not only that but that I'll basically be releasing a big part of me to the whole world and sometimes it's just so hard, you know?" She looked down and continued talking; "It's like I really wanna inspire people but at the same time I can't and I don't wanna be selfish." While she stared at the ground I watched her and turned her face so that she would face me, I looked at her in the eyes and smiled.

"Demi, it's okay to get scared sometimes and you're not being selfish. Everything new scares in the beginning and it's okay not wanting to release certain songs, remember everything has a time and you release them when YOU are ready. Your lovatics are pretty dedicated and I'm pretty sure they'll understand. You inspire people by just being you!" While looking at her eyes I put my hand on hers and smiled. She smiled back and noticed she was blushing, she's so cute.

"You got a way with words Mr.Efron, you sure know how to make someone feel better but seriously thank you Zac. It really means a lot, thank you for everything." She smiled and we were still holding hands.

"You know I'm here for you, anytime Demi. No matter what, I'll always be here for you."

She smiled at me and we started looking at the sky full of stars together while holding hands but suddenly Demi noticed Marissa was taking way too long on the bathroom so obviously made us worry a bit.

"Hey Zac, umm I'll be right back... I'm starting to worry, Marissa hasn't come from the bathroom. I'll just check if she's okay and come back. Don't move" she said while smiling, her last sentence made me laugh a bit

"I won't" I said while laughing.

While waiting for her outside, her phone started ringing. She left it here and she made it impossible not to look at it cause she basically left it next to me. At first I thought it was her mom but then noticing who it was made all my happiness and hopes crash down...
