"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Patton burst into the room screeching loudly making Virgil jump with a sudden start. Roman just giggled softly from where he laid on the bed and gently leaned in against Virgil to give him a soft morning kiss.

"Good morning, Dulce meum." Virgil sighed hearing Patton's excited giggles from the doorway. Roman glanced up to smile knowingly at the father-like friend before stretching as he sat up completely. "Then again, every morning I wake up with you is the best so... I might be a bit bias."

"Well, other than the scare first thing in the morning..." Virgil teased, giving Patton a playfully dirty look. "Thanks for your early birthday wishes, Patton."

"Oh?" Roman lulled as he gave the older a confused look. "Was that today?" Virgil rolled his eyes as Romans attempt at sarcasm before pulling his love into a loving kiss making Roman hum in bliss. When they pulled apart Roman was blushed beyond belief, eyes literally sparkling in the subtle shifts in light that surrounded them. "Happy Birthday, Mi Hermosa Rosa Oscura." (My beautiful dark rose...)

"You know, Roman. I do know Spanish. In fact, I've learned many languages over my life." Roman's brow quirked as Virgil smirked up at him. "Puede que sea una rosa oscura ... Pero tú, mi amor, eres la luz de la luna brillando sobre el mar. Ethereal... enchanting." Roman flushed brightly as Virgil whispered into his neck. "I love you, Ro." (I may be a dark rose... But you, my love, are the moonlight shimmering down on the sea. )

"I love you too, Virgil... But we need to get up." Virgil frowned as he pulled away letting Roman jump up only to finally notice Patton holding two garment bags.

"What's going on?" Virgil whispered slightly as he hesitantly pushed himself out of bed watching as Roman giddily grabbed the bag Patton held out to him. "Roman? Patton?"

"It's your birthday, Kiddo." Patton beamed as he pushed the other bag into Virgil's hands noticing just how confused the oldest was. "We wanted to take some pictures today."

"You and I are going to go to this place Patton found so he can do a Birthday photoshoot." Roman continued as he gestured to the bag in Virgil's hands. "He wanted us to wear our wedding tux's."

"Wait but... What... What if something happens to them?" Roman smiled softly as Virgil clutched the bag tighter to his chest. "Where are we going for the photoshoot? I'm confused."

"It's ok, Virgil. I uh... I should probably confess... It was my idea, not Patton's." Virgil's eyes softened seeing the desperation in Roman's eyes. "I really wanted to do this with you... please?"

"It's the both of us right?" Roman nodded as he held his bag up and Virgil's eyes seemed to light up. "That means I'll finally get to see your outfit?" Roman froze, realization filling his features at how excited Virgil got over that. "I never got the chance before."

"All the more reason to do it right?" Virgil nodded happily as quickly ran to Patton pulling on his hand and making Roman laugh. "Ok, you two get ready. I'll have Logan help me like he did last time."

"I still can't believe how this looks." Virgil laughed as he stared himself over in the mirror. "Even after all the times, I've seen it on me... It just takes me by surprise." Patton smiled softly as he brushed Virgil's shoulders off meeting his eyes through the reflection. Virgil smiled so happily as his eyes watered a bit just over everything. "You did well, Patton. Thank you so much."

"Trust me, Kiddo. I'm just happy you have a reason to wear it again." Virgil's smile only grew only for him to jump at the soft knock on the door. It opened up to reveal Roman and the world went completely silent.

"Oh my." Roman laughed as he walked in and pulled Virgil into his arms without the slightest pause. "You look perfect, Angelus meus tenebris." There was not a blip of awareness in Virgil's face as he just took everything in. Roman frowned with worry as he stepped back to look him in the eyes. Virgil did not meet his gaze. "Virgil? Hun? Are you ok?" Virgil's eyes simply scanned him over, completely speechless which only worried Roman more. "Love?" Finally, the darker prince met his gaze with tears in his eyes as he stepped out of Roman's arms. "Is something wrong?"

"Wrong?" Virgil's voice cracked bad showing just how close he was to crying as he laughed and shook his head. "I'm just taking it in."

"Taking what..." Roman's eyes went wide as he looked down at himself before blushing madly. "Oh... Right. I guess I was so lost in your tux I forgot you might uh... have the same reaction to mine."

Roman was standing there in a starling white tux with golden accents and sparkling golden stars down the cuffs of his jacket. He had this deep royal purple sash that ran down his should adding the only contrast to color that he had, with a diamond-encrusted crescent moon broach at the end of it to pin it together. His ginger hair was styled back and he had gold and red around his eyes making the lovely emerald color in them pop. Virgil was never more in love with his husband than he was right now.

"I'm... I... I have no words." Virgil laughed awkwardly to himself as he dabbed his eyes praying the make-up didn't run and smiled. "It's already shaping up to be an amazing birthday... just over seeing you in that. So... Thank you."

"Hold your thanks for now, ok Love. I have a lot planned for you. This is only the start."
