I've Changed

I slowly begin to approach him. It's been 5 years..
I walk faster, I run. But the second I was close enough I smacked him as hard as possible and walked past him.

"Oh c'mon, don't be like that!" I continue to walk away from him. "You can't walk there!"
Bonnie- "Watch me!"
Colby rolled his eyes and caught up to me.
Colby- "Get in the car Bonnie, let me talk to you"
Bonnie- "You don't get to talk to me. You don't get to be with me. You don't get to go near me."

He eventually stopped walking next to me in realization he wouldn't be able to break me. I've changed. I wasn't as weak. Colby got to me in a way nobody else could and he knew that, but he also knew he needed to step it up to be able to make me listen to him.
You see, me and Colby weren't just every other couple.

"Bonnie, if we're gonna do this we do it my way" I was so desperate i didn't think it over.
"Of course, I trust you."
"Now, get in the car"
I always did as he said to and he'd do what I said. To us 'no' wasn't a thing. I knew something was always off about Colby, but when he was alone with me he was amazing, in public.. he was scary"

December 14th,

I awake again in my bed. Standing at the foot of it was him.
Colby- "Shall we talk now?"
I wasn't surprised that he broke into my house. If he got in trouble with the cops, he'd be in for life. Colby didn't scare me though, he would do anything for me.
