Final Moments

Chapter XIII

The next day

Boruto POV

*knock*Knock*knock*
"Uh"
I looked at my cloak. It was 4:30.
"Who the hell is knocking on my window at 4 in the dam morning" I whined.
I open my window to see a black figure.
"Who ar-"
It was my master.
"What is it"
"Get ready"
"What..its to early"
"I warned you yesterday"
"Argh fiine"
I walked over to my bed and went back under the covers.

Sasuke POV
Is this kid serious. I entered his window and pulled the covers off.
"Huh"
He was in a sleeping bag.
"You think I'm messing around"
"If you don't get up and have everything ready by the time I reach ten"
I moved close to his ear.
"Your training is gonna reach the meter to hell."
"Ten"
He dashed out his bed. Grabbing his jacket. Going to the bathroom. Running back grabbing his pouch and his headband.
"Next time there will be no warning"
"Understood"
"Yes Master"
I tossed him his sandals.
"Here"
"Oh hehe" Boruto said rubbing the back of his head.
"Let's go"
We ran to the training ground to the training ground.

Boruto POV
"So master why so early" I yawned.
"I warned you didn't I" He said with his emotionless face.

For the next twelve hours I was in hell. Small Meteors falling from the sky. The ground was burning in black flames. Kunai coming out of scrolls. Hand to hand combat. No breaks at all. NO BREAKS. I even died for about a minute. I didn't want to continue. Master brought me back with a electric shock to my chest.

It was now noon. This time we were working on my sensing. I was in the middle of the forest. My headband covered my eyes. I had a kunai in each hands. It was silent. I was one with the forest.
*whoose*
*CLING*
*CLING*
*whoose*
*CLING*
Kunai's came from every direction. Front and back. Left and Right. They were like rain drops.
*CLING**CLING**CLING*
Hundreds of more kunai's were on the ground. Cuts and bruises were all over my body. Blood dripping off my hands.
"We are done for today" Master said.
*huff**huff* I walked towards the campfire that had two logs facing each other. I dropped to the green grass in front of were my master was.
"Did you learn your lesson"
"Yes" I said huffing.
"But I realized something"
"Huh"
"This training isn't just a punishment. It's to make me more stronger." I said.
I fell asleep for about two hours until I was woken up.
"Your lunch" said my master.
"Thanks" I said getting up and sitting on the log.
"We need to discuss somethings"
"What is it" I said.
"The mark on your right hand" I looked at my right hand.
"You received it when momoshiki was killed right"
"Yeah"
"Is it causing any pain."
"No just little pinches"
"I see" said my master.
"And what is this eye your father has mention"
"Well I'm not sure there's times were it activates on its own"
"I sometimes I wake up to it activated"
"And why is that"
"I'm not sure Sensei"
It was silence for about a minute. We watched as the fire burned the wood.
"I was speaking with your father"
"I'm going to leave the village once more"
"And I want you come along with me on this journey and train and find more answers on these parasites before they get out of hand"he said.
"How long is this going to take" I said.
"I'm not sure, three to four years at the most" he said
"When do we leave"
"In two days"
"Alright Ill tell my mother and sister"
I stood up.
"I'll see you in about two days"
I walked towards my house. Man how is my mom gonna react. It seems dad already agreed. I don't mind leaving. I know it's to benefit the village. I have to get stronger to protect everyone. I will be the shadow hokage just like master and protect the future. That is my goal.
I walked into my house to see my mother on the couch with my sister asleep on her lap.
"H-hey mom"
"Boruto"
"What happen"she said moving my sister off her.
"It was training"
"Oh Boruto"She said giggling a little.
I went up stairs to my room to get my things ready. I didn't have the courage to tell my mother. I'll just leave it to dad to tell her.
A couple minutes later I walked downstairs to see dad at the door taking off his sandals.
"Dad"
"Hey Boruto"
I sat next to him.
"So dad I" He interrupted me.
"You have told her"
"Right"Dad said.
"No"
"Go tell right now" He said.
"No you"
"Why me"
"Your the one who's leaving"
"Yeah but your the one who's the parent"I said.
"That doesn't mean anything"
"Go now"he said with a serious look.
"Alright"
I walked to the kitchen. I spoke loud so my dad could her me.
"Mom"
"Yes"
"Dad has to tell you something"
My dad walked in.
"What is it Naruto"
"Um well Boruto wants to tell you something"
"No dad wants to tell you something very important"
"No Boruto does" He was now facing me with a pissed off look. We went back in forth until my mom stop us. Her byakugan was activated. Chills went through my spine. Dads face was terrified.
"Naruto tell me RIGHT NOW!!"
My dad was sweating so much. I slowly started to walk back without them noticing.

Naruto POV
I don't know how she would react to our son leaving. I looked to my right to see Boruto gone. I turned back to see him backing away.
"Boruto" I whispered.
"Boruto" He kept on backing away.
"Naruto tell me right now" Her tone was serious.
"Sasuke is taking boruto to a 4 year long journey" I spat out.
"What" she said.
A tear ran down her cheek. I put her head on my chest. She was crying more now.

Boruto POV
I heard my mother crying in the kitchen. I couldn't bare to face her. I walked up stairs to hear sobbing coming from my sisters room.
"Hima, what's wrong"
"Your leaving"She was on her bed looking at her feet. Tears falling.
I walked to her bed and sat next to her.
"You know there's a point in ones life were the chick has to leave the nest in order to grow" I said.
"They will have to leave in order to find there purpose"
"That time is now"
"Instead of being sad I'm leaving, be happy that I'm leaving to become stronger and that I'll return one day."
"To protect you, mom, dad"
"To protect the village"
"You know" I gave her a bright smile.
Her sobbing slowly faded. She look at me. A smile slowly grew on her face.
"What do you say I spend all tomorrow morning with you and we do what every you want"
"Really" She rubbed her eyes. Smiling even more with a sparkle in her eyes.
"Yeah what do you say"
She jumped on me.
"YEAH"
"OW OW"
"The cuts" I said in pain.
She let go.
"Sorry" she said.
"Its fine"
"Alright then get some sleep "
"And don't be sad anymore okay"
I scuffled her hair. She turned around to fall asleep.
I walked to the bathroom and step into the shower. The water hit my hair.
Four years of being gone. The thought of me leaving everything behind. If I come back dead or alive. This journey wasn't gonna to be easy. I turned off the shower and headed for bed. I closed my eyes.
